Did Nigeria take permission from Benin before the deployment abi Benin no get sovereignty?

If Nigeria didn't seek for permission then they have just violated the sovereignty of Benin republic

Thr deployment, except if the Niger Govt requested for it is condemnable.

The news was that it was deployed to guard Nigeria's territorial area and not to fight. I think this makes sense.

Benin is a member of ECOWAS and AU. One of the benefits of member ship is support in times like this. They don't need to wait for permission before giving auport.
