It was a pleasure joining my brother-governors of the Progressive Governors’ Forum in Lagos this weekend for our two-day retreat, a fruitful engagement centred on strengthening governance, accelerating reforms, and deepening the collective vision that binds us as progressives.

Across Enugu State, we are demonstrating what these values mean in practice - modernising institutions, expanding infrastructure, transforming education through our Smart Schools, strengthening security, growing the economy, and delivering real improvements to the daily lives of our people. It is reassuring to see these shared ideals reflected in the conversations and commitments of colleagues from across the federation.

I extend my sincere gratitude to our host, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu (@jidesanwoolu) for his warmth and hospitality. Lagos once again proved to be a gracious and exemplary host, offering us both the space and the inspiration to reflect on Nigeria’s future under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT).

Together, as 25 progressive governors, we remain united in purpose - building stronger states, a more prosperous nation, and a future that works for every Nigerian.

Just like in Enugu, Ekiti and Osun states, the APC will resort to disqualification and imposition in the party primaries.

25 APC governors out of 36 governors and some of the remaining 11 are currently undergoing negotiations and consultations to join the team. Is there need force 2027 Presidential election? Yes, there is need to fulfil constitutional requirements just for the records. Tinubu will handover to his preferred successor in 2031

You should know that Tinubu will settle all fights. Even Obasanjo that swore to fight Atiku till death, when Tinubu need Obasanjo to join hands to kick out Jonathan, Tinubu took Atiku to Obasanjo’s house
