Please sometime last month I came here complaining of hotness of the stomach and waist pains thinking am having a miscarriage, I was asked to go 2 d clinic which I did. I went to d clinic met with d doctor and I explained everything 2 him, DAT I took worm tablet not knowing DAT was pregnant coz am I first timer, he did some test that am still pregnant but my Pcv is low up till now, am very pale and not looking healthy. Please wat can I do to boost my pcv and look healthy coz this is my second tremister

Vegetables help a lot with boosting blood. There is also the option of the iron tablets given in the hospitals, and you can try blood-giving herbs that some women sell in the market. You need to be sure of what you are buying if you opt for the herbs, but they are great for boosting blood too.

Please take your folic acid tablets seriously. One daily. And the iron supplements. Then eat lots of green leafy vegetables like ugu. Also, add two boiled eggs to your diet daily. God will see you through.

Am having inner hotness of the body, please help me out coz am pregnant

Hello everyone. My wife gave birth to a preterm cos of pre-eclampsia and his weight is extremely low. I was told to get fresh blood O’negative since yesterday evening till now, i havent seen. General hospitals is on strike and I’ve called so many blood banks using google but to no avail. They said they need the blood transfusion because the infection is on high level. Please if you have anywhere I can go within Lagos to get it I’ll appreciate. She’s in Lagos island maternity hospital.

It’s normal. Baby is growing and using all your body and blood. Your body has turn to factory. Get bottle water and put in ice tray. Make sure it’s filtered, freeze it and anytime you feel hot, pop ice block in your mouth. You will cool down. Make sure you are also eating and drinking enough water to prevent dehydration. I also had the same issue and could only drink very cold water and eat /suck ice block.

who is O-? Your wife? Did she take the rhesus negative shot? Make sure she does especially if you are O+ for the health of future babies.

Be careful with such rare blood donations. Ensure the blood is tested well before it’s used for her. You can ask friends and family and get them tested for diseases in a lab or hospital before using their blood. O- is especially rare for black people. Oyinbo have more O-. I hope you find someone quick.

In the meantime get your wife low salt and very little oil thick vegetable soup to eat with Amala. Thick vegetable o. No even use maggi cook am. Make sure she’s drinking a lot of water and walking around as she can too. Also try your best to make her breastfeed baby if she’s fit. No allow anybody stress her at all at this time. She needs to eat very healthy, rest, drink a lot of fluid and exercise lightly pending the transfusion. If baby is too little let her try to pump breast milk for baby.
