Nigeria has a big problem with terrorists .... literally doing nothing about it ... but can immediately dispatch fighter jets to Benin to link up with France to flush out those involved in the attempted coup. It is clear....Nigeria is a puppet of the West. Why wouldn't Tinubu allow weapons to flow into Niger to destabilize the country or overthrow the government? Niger decision to inspect is about national security.

Northerners are the ones who rejected a military effort in Niger claiming they are their brothers.

nah... After the Benin republic show of force by the Nigerian Airforce.. They are being cautious

I know we have our internal shame we are dealing with, but i find it totally absurd when people compared the Nigerian Military with countries such as Burkina faso, Niger and Mali.

The reason for our prolonged internal fiasco bordered on internal collusion, political and military corruption, tribal and religious afilliation.. Let the Nigerian Airforce decides to drop bomb this evil bandits, the same northerners that are being kidnapped will shout they are bombing villagers praying or doing wedding in the same location where bandits are..
Yes, it's wrong to bomb any locations with civilians, no matter how many bandits you believe are there. We're not in the Stone Age. Fight them by all means, but no human rights violations. If civilians are there, send in ground troops with air support.

I understand your position and i ve updated my post but the only solution to this bandits issue is an extreme use of force coz guerilla warfare wont work when there is an high risk of sabotage by the military, villagers and political elites

That's a weak and false excuse.

We couldn't simply because Niger has a force large enough to be unpredictable in terms of outcome.
We could easily go to Benin because they are small enough to be on the defensive.

Unfortunately true.

Also, people should not pay bandits any money at all, be it ransom or anything else.

Tinubu has done most of this things you listed, yet nothing changes.

He even went as far as cutting electricity to Niger. Yet the military juntas were not moved.

Nigeria has been bombing bandits and boko with tucano jets, and other air borne machinery including drones.

A big reason why the government can't bomb them all the time, is because they use human shields.

As an example, some 100 or more people were kidnapped in Kaduna state. Under Buhari. They were located by the NAF...but NAF could not fire on them because human shield things. Confirmed by one of the kidnapped people

Left to me, they should use harsh measures on the bandits regardless...but when innocents die, people won't blame the bandits.

If you mean IDP camps, read the bit about human shields, and appreciate bombing of civillian areas under threat

If you mean millitary camps, the trick boko uses is to send over 200 troops to attack a small base manned by less than 50 men (what media calls a base is not a base as we know it re army). That's how they win the propaganda war. Remember this is not NIgeria vs BIafra where everyone knew where everyone was and where the frontline was, and where the generals were all trained by British WW2 and WW1 vets, who believed in organised warfare.

And yes, sometimes they call in air support. But this is not a organised war. This is assymetric war. You fight the war with good governance, and the fist. That's why APC Has been failing in the war.

Small yansh dey shake.

In the first place, do you have any other way to import or export except through Nigeria or any other ECOWAS country.

The petrol to power your generators was given to you by Nigeria and the computer systems probably assembled in Nigeria or imported through Nigeria or Benin Republic.

Stop using your old age to attract funny reactions to you due to your political affiliation. So what exactly are we benefiting from Niger?
Where is the insult in the letter? Are we begging them to open their border for us or what?

Penguin2:
This is what you get when you allow an unpopular drug lord to snatch and grab power and run away with it.

Every of these shithole countries are now disgracing and disrespecting us.

These are countries that used to catch cold when Nigeria sneezes.

Just yesterday, Burkina Faso declared it arrested Nigerian soldiers that landed in its territory. I swear to you that such a thing would not have been imagined by Burkina Faso under an Obasanjo, Yaradua or even Jonathan presidency.

Now, ordinary Niger is going to be subjecting our citizens to the stress of offloading their trucks at the border everytime they pass.

All these because we allowed an ijiot foist himself on us.

Congratulations to all those who made it possible. They thought they were doing Igbos.

Ndi ala!

Tinubu is facing more than he can handle at home....his house is on fire and barely standing ...yet he can't say "not at this time Macron"?
Now we have a C-130 airforce hardware and 11 innocent Airmen in custody of a country far from the centre of the mission he was trying to intervene so-called on behalf of Macron......na wa o

Aside the Nursery children kidnapped, i don't get emotional with all this mass kidnapping issues because the average northerner is a terrorist sympathizer

But nevertheless, we should know our mate, comparing Nigeria Military to Niger Military is outrageous.. an all outwar with those countries will be devastating for them coz their wont be any restraint
Then is it not better we divide the country ?

How long are we going to keep up with condoning nonsense because a region or certain regions refuse the right thing to be done?

When are we then going to fight this insecurity? when?

How can one even use fighter jets to attack individuals that are not in groups? This will be like a war crime. Aren't there ways to handle such situations? A man is holding children hostage in a classroom ... should one even consider dropping a bomb on the classroom?
When the bandits holding the hostages were located ....what was the next move? Isn't it to get troops to move in? ... bombing the location should never even be a thought.

Re: Niger Republic: Goods Imported From Nigeria Must Be Unloaded & Inspected by CaseSensitive(m):
Do you blame Niger? They've been fighting so hard to get rid of France's "democracy" in their region. Tinubu has been visiting Macron of recent, and Niger don't want Tinubu to deliver more of France's "democracy" tools to Niger. Though I don't think Nigeria is trying to do anything malicious but you can't be too careful and cautious in this crazy world.
