BREAKING: After meeting with President Tinubu, seven APC governorship aspirants have decided to step down to back Bola Oyebamiji as the consensus governorship candidate for Osun State APC in the forthcoming primary.

The meeting, called by President Tinubu at the presidential villa, was boycotted by one of the aspirants, Iyiola Omisore, who had earlier described his disqualification from the primary as a joke.

The aspirants who stepped down include former Deputy Governor Benedict Olugboyega Alabi, Dotun Babayemi, Akin Ogunbiyi, Senator Babajide Omoworare, Kunle Adegoke (SAN), Babatunde Haketer Oralusi, and Mulikat Abiola Jimoh.

If the election is free and fair, no security support for Ademola Adeleke as we had it in 2022, APC will beat him silly at the poll.

He is not as popular as is being touted.

People are angry with him. Despite earning almost N1 trillion in revenue in the last 3 years, he is charging as much as N1.5 million in UNIOSUN and UNILESA . How many parents, or civil servants could afford that ?

He sacked 1500 teachers recruited by the previous government and has failed to recruit additional teachers to replace them.

The worst of it is that he collected recruitment fee from over 32,000 job applicants for the positions of teachers and what-have-you, and for two years now, he has not recruited one single teachers.

No doctor or health workers have been recruited despite sacking those enegaged by the Oyetola government.

Roads his government are purportedly constructing are poorly done. His government is below average. No ambitious project. Osun should by now, given the huge allocation coming to the state, be talking about how to facilitate and extend to Osun rail project from Oyo State. We should not be talking about payment of salary and pension. Oyetola paid salary and pension promptly too. He equally gave other welfare to workers.

The Oyetola government paid bursary to students and charge moderate school fees in schools.

The people of Osun have got an opportunity to compare the APC and PDP and have realized that APC is far far better and more committed to education, health and welfare and well being of the citizens.

And even now with the Candidate APC is presenting, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji ( AMBO), the man who stopped half-salary payment workers few months after he was appointed Commissioner for Finance by the Aregbesola government, APC stands a better chance of winning in the next election.

The man is not only popular in APC, he is equally popular outside politics. He is well loved by Christian Association of Nigerian ( CAN) because of his love to them and contribution to them. He has received many awards from CAN. He sponsored building of CAN office in Irewole Local Government which the national CAN President that time, Rev. Ayorinde, came to commission. He is a close friend of the then CAN President. Their relationship backdated to 1990s. Equally, he is a well loved Muslim. The Muslims see him as good ambassador of Islam. They love him for his humility and philanthropy. He was one of the founders of the popular NASFAT. He is also a great friend of many Islamic leaders, including the respected Sultan of Sokoto, who is pushing seriously for his candidature and election among Muslims and political leaders.

AMBO is a candidate to beat. APC only needs to put its house in order.

Wike controlled which judge? So now Wike is AGF and minister for justice ba?

Show us what is Adeleke achievement so far than dancing? Mind you I'm Adeleke fan but sincerely I'm disappointed in him.

And we warned him to remain in PDP or are at worst join APC he turned deaf ears and jumped to Accord Party. Pls who knows Accord in Osun?

He will be beaten blue black and to even worsen his poor performance he appointed 5 Adelekes into his govt that is too extreme and way too far because when okorocha did it then we fought him to a standstill and when Aketi brought his in-laws into his govt we fought it to a standstill so Adeleke goofed badly.
