I no get the strength for small pikin talk. You're free to say anything you want, nothing will change the reality on ground.

The south west is miles ahead of the south east, that's why we have your people everywhere in the south west.

In Ogun state for example, no part of Ogun state you won't find Igbos living In large numbers because the state is prospering.
The same ogun state that the people are fleeing due to mass unemployment. The same ogun that foreigners are operating slave workshop aka factories

Fake statistics. SW should follow behind the NC.

People that can't afford portable drinking water and modern toilets for themselves.
You have to face reality. South West is the most prosperous part of Nigeria. That's why it attracts a large community of non-indigenous people. Lagos is the key driver behind that growth.

Tilumbu has rendered millions of Nigerians extremely poor within the past 2 years. People who were spending average 50k or less per week for their families now spend over 200,000 per week, with moderate or no increase in salary.

Re: World Bank — Nigeria Poverty Rate By Geopolitcal Zone 2025 by DeepSight(m):
What did I see there? 137k per year as the National poverty line? Does that mean that they are using the premise that only people who earn less than this a year are poor? If so, they are saying that only people who earn 11, 400 Naira and less a month are considered poor?

If that is the metric/ premise used then the truth is that this is a bad metric. The global poverty line used by the World Bank used to be $1 a day which would mean that anyone earning less than N45K a month is poor, not this absurd N11, 400! Now consider that the $1 line is actually old and what is used today is more the $3 line! Consider also that minimum wage is 70k Naira.

So unless I am missing something, these stats are very very bad as the actual figures for the poor per region will be FAR worse than represented.

Economists please correct me in case I have assumed wrongly on the premises.

We all know that it's poverty in the south east that is pushing you people to run to the south west. If you all return to your region today, hunger go ways you. We don't leave our region and we are eating and dinning.

Lagos constitutes the Bulk of the "SouthWest"

Right?.

Right!

Followed by Oyo,etc .

Now the statistics is referring to the well-being of the Residents of the Regions..

... and not just the indigenes!!

See?

Let's always remember these demographics anytime we see these statistics....

...and stop being clever by half...

...deceiving ourselves!!

...to what end,I can't tell.

Everytime!

So the stats is not just for the indigenes. But all the Residents put together

In any case...without mentioning any particular tribe we automatically know which Ethnic group constitues the bulk of these well-to-do residents reflecting in these Statistics .

See?

aren't you responsible for their predicament? Yoruba's are responsible now! when you keep accommodating them in the South West rather than send them back home to go develop their region. Yoruba's left them to keep developing the South West.

Stop being Misled by Ignorant Trolls and troublemakers on Nairaland who deliberately prey on your inability to Observe...

Whenever Statisticians do their findings on regions,always remember one thing;

They are reffering to Residents....

....not indigenes!!

For instance, the Igbos living in the SouthWest or SouthSouth or in the North are parts of the Sample Statistics for that Region.

To wit; the over 25 million Igbos living in Lagos and other SouthWest areas often always prop up the regions stats to an appreciable levels.

Always remember this in any stats you see anywhere.

Stop fooling.

Stop being fooled!!

All these brown roofs you're posting and the cyber bullying you're doing doesn't change anything. I'm from the south south and I can tell you for a fact that the SW is still the most advanced region. One good thing about them is the way they channel resources into building facilities and maintaining them. They have their own personal issues but they'll never burn their region to prove a point. They'll rather go through the right channel. If they should separate from Nigeria today, they'll actually be the most advanced. They're proactive too.
