"In these 6 months of the Alonso era, the Real Madrid dressing room has not meshed well with him. He arrived to raise the bar, both in training and matches; to impose discipline and order in a dressing room that was spoiled and toxic; and to modernize the team's style of play. As the weeks went by, the players grew increasingly frustrated with his tactical demands, high press, advanced defensive line, endless video sessions, and limited rest days. And Alonso, knowing he was losing the dressing room, gradually gave in, eventually offering them his full support, his arm, and whatever else they asked for. The latest example is recent. The before and after the victory at San Mamés demonstrates the power of the dressing room. Traveling on Tuesday instead of Wednesday angered a good number of the players, and after the win against Athletic, Alonso granted them two days off, when only one had been planned. So the preparation for the match against Celta included only one training session, on Saturday. This is just one example of the many that have occurred since the Vinicius case erupted. Until then, Alonso didn't really know what it meant to coach Real Madrid. And that's despite being a player for five years, and having witnessed how a coach like Mourinho lost the support of a large majority of his players when things started to go wrong. Now Alonso himself is experiencing firsthand the influence players have at Real Madrid, but he doesn't understand why he was brought in if, at the first sign of trouble, the club looked the other way, as happened with Vinicius. That's when Xabi understood that he had to manage 25 egos and put his coaching role aside. The beginning of the end. Alonso believed that coaching on his knees would boost the dressing room, but usually, it's quite the opposite. Everything that has happened in recent weeks has paved the way for what seems imminent: his dismissal." |

The players were really disgusting and pathetic on Sunday. My ears hurt from the cheers and claps they received from the fans starting from when they stepped into the pitch to train before the match up till when the line-up was called. Every touch, including the bad touches, received claps and 'vamos' from the fans. The Grada Fans (those guys in white) were amazing and sang many songs till the 90th minute. Celta's goalkeeper was booed and called 'puta' for any little delay. Any wrong call from the referee led to the fans chanting 'Negreira.' Alas, those players put up such as horrible performance and just walked into the dressing room after the match. Only Courtois and Rudiger stayed behind and walked around the pitch to apologise to the fans. The boos started after the final whistle but later turned to claps for Courtois and Rudiger. The other players were nowhere to be found. The most disappointing player for me this season is Valverde. I am not only referring to his performance but his lack of leadership in this difficult time. I want to believe he also wants Alonso out hence such a behaviour. If Alonso gets sacked and he still fails to step up, he should be stripped of the armband. After the matches against Olympiacos and Bilbao, the idiot captain talked to the press but always disappeared when we loss. What a shame. |

Rajmeista:It was really shameful tbh. And yes, Valverde isn't fit to be a Captain, a good and hardworking player but never a leader. We need to change our captaincy selection routine. |

Rajmeista:Apart from courtois who I will cut some slack, the rest of our players are nonchalant,They're playing as if they don't care. Their useless attitude |

▪️ Journalist: "Ronaldo will soon be the only player to reach 1,000 goals." 🗣️ Nicolas Pepe: "It's normal, since he left for Al-Nassr, Ronaldo has scored 200 penalties. Messi doesn't care about penalties. Cristiano Ronaldo does a lot of interviews, and he talks too much about Messi, and that's how you see that he is number 2. You know Dragon Ball Z? Vegeta always talked like that, and who never talked? Goku. Ronaldo has the same frustration that Messi is always ahead of him."

Xabi should stay irrespective of the outcome against City. Some of our players need to put in more effort. They need to run more and cover spaces quickly |

I can't even remember the last time we had a remontada. The lack of intensity and confusion whenever we are behind now is alarming. Guess what? Let Mbappe score another banger from the edge of the box, and people forget these problems. I am just praying that Guardiola will play a high line tomorrow because that's the only thing working for us at the moment. We find it difficult to win against teams with low blocks, and we can't even play low blocks because we now have chairmen in the team who don't run or track back. All is well. |

Rajmeista:Mbappe didn't train today sef, he is a doubt for the Man City game. It's all on Vini and whoever Xabi decides to pair him with now. I don't trust Vini so I hope it's he starts. |

Good midfield at least Ceballos can handle the ball, Tchomeni to break up play while Bellingham continue to crash the box. I knew Mbape wasn't truly injured and will play today depending on the outcome of the game. I think it's a 3:1 victory for Madrid. Not because they're better than City but because without Mabpe, Vini is a better player. Add to the fact that roof will be covered, Alonso fighting for his job and 10X more from Vini. Be there 😜 |

So these same players can show this level of intensity, more evidence that the state of our form this season is on the players majorly. We are playing well considering everything but there are few things Xabi should point out. They should find Gonzalo more and Vini should move the ball quickly and stop taking too many touches. Rodrygo has been our best attacker and I hope this isn't a one of patch of form for him. |
