that's why it's good to passed through 4 walls of class rooms in tertiary schools. Awolowo laid the foundation, and the yoruba people are following that path.
Everyone in the South is following the path of education laid by the British.

He played an important party as a lead in the defence of the Tinubu counsel at the elections tribunal.

He is back to his profession , wrote a book last year, I secured a copy some weeks ago.

So that someone has achieved a lot in life means that other people have not achieved anything in their life.

Talk from now till tomorrow. Fashola is nothing exceptional. He is not different from the typical Nigerian politician.

That is my opinion and if you bleat from now till tomorrow, it won't change it.

Fashola was the governor of Lagos State, one of the world's dirtiest cities and a former minister of a shithole country by world standards

Hope you are happy now.

Did I mention Obi in my comment. Have i mentioned Obi in any comment in the last two years or have I ever mentioned Otti in any comment at all?

Better go wash your brain. This tribalistic outlook of the world can not help you. The politicians you are defending so badly have bonds and dealings that transcend tribes and religions...they know where they meet at midnight to eat from the same plate.

They stir up religion and tribalism to keep folks like you distracted...while they steal you blind.

Fashola is not any different from the other Nigerian politicians.
It obvious them do am. He can’t breathe well without mentioning Peter Obi.

Their fear is credibility. They hate integrity and sincerity.

Coackroach mentality !!!

Your lord and saviour was governor of one of the world's dirtiest countries and minister of a shithole country.

That is how irrelevant the achievements of your lord and saviour actually is in the realm of the real world.

Nothing spectacular about this.

Before, all serious politicians have real jobs they do outside politics.

Outside politics, Awolowo was practising as a lawyer and after leaving House of Reps in 2011, Dr Wale Okediran returned to his Medical Practice, so also was Late Clement Akpampa (fmr Attorney General during the Military era).

The late Gov Lam Adeshina of Oyo State returned to his book shop business after leaving office in 2003.

Recently, Ex-Gov Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State was appointed a Lecturer at King's College, University of London.

Fashola is not any different from the other Nigerian politicians.
The real problem here is that average nigerian is expecting a Saint in leadership but are not different from their leaders if given the opportunity.

Many here complaining about government do not exist in their street.

Our leaders are our mirrors.

No leader is perfect and neither can you. If you used to respect Babatynde Fashola and you no longer respect him because he went to politics. Not that you have practical evidence of his malfeasance or misconduct or stealing while in office.

Yet you no longer respect him.

That sends a bad signal to credible Nigerians who cares and can help clean up the polity that they will lose their credibility, even if they did their best, just for participantion.. This is why they say "Politics is a very dirty game". Yet you all want Saints to participate.

The same Nigerians who will arrange special jamb centre's for their kids will complain govt is not doing anything to fix education.

They are the ones who will remove iron drainage covers and guide from a newly built road and bridges, rail tracks etc.

Have you wondered why the previous govts always better than the current govt?

Because we continue to grow in bad character as a nation.

It is not about individuals, a nation is built by every member of the country called citizens.

We all can stay behind our keyboards and type what we feel is wrong with our country but until we all see it as a collective responsibility regardless of who is in power, things may not get better anytime soon.

Do your bits and I will do my bit too.

I always ask

*Who among Nigerians can fix Nigeria alone?"

Imagine this scenario, as this is how most Nigerian politicians operate.

A small job that is not worth more than 2 million naira. Maybe even about 200,000 naira, if na one freelancer execute am and no be company.

To cut a long story short this job will be inflated up to about 200 million naira.

If the young mans conscience after tremendous pressure can not let him do more than 40 million naira in inflation for a mere design and costs of materials that is actually worth 200,000 thousand naira.

They will push him to the side and seek another employee who would do their bidding.

If you have any iota of integrity would you respect any man or woman who is heavily involved in stuff like this.

Nigerians actually hate saints and love their politicians to steal. Because they would do so if they were in that position.

It is practices like this that has kept Nigeria in the messy situation it is today. Politicians steal a little, steal a lot and then go back to steal some more.

Some politicians show off their stolen loot. Some do not know how to steal and cover their tracks. Some are garroulous and talk themselves into trouble from their fellow thieves who will then hunt them.

Fashola is a rare breed. He is very private, a legal maverick who knows how to be invisible and does not talk carelessly...but he is still a Nigeria politician nevertheless.

There is no single Nigeria politician that I respect. They are ALL the same to varying degrees.

Why did he say electricity is not rocket science before assuming office? Why did he talk as if he could do it in one year when he was attending ministerial screening at the Senate?!

You talk as if you had the magic wand. Then after taking office, you started complaining.

How does that manage to make sense to you?!

Why didn't he properly assess the risk before he started talking as if he was the messiah?

This is why it is good to have a second address as a politician.
This is why it is good to be a professional in any field before going into politics.

After politics, the lawyer can go back to his chambers, the Professor can go back his classroom, the Medical Scientist can go back to his Lab Bench, the Physician can go back to his hospital, the Pharmacist can go back his Drugstore, the Architect can go back to his drawing board.

Don't be like Wike that cannot gain a piece to eat without politics money.

Nigerians stop voting for non-professionals and riff-raffs, who have never worked for one day outside politics. They have an entitlement mentality and promote do-or-die politics than anyone else. Wike is an example.
Wike is a qualified lawyer for your information! He may decide to go back to practise law after his political sojourn!

Wike never practiced law for one second of his life. He has been swallowing politics money in a very dishonourable manner since he left school.

This is why he has an entitlement mentality. The people's money has become his feeding bottle and he is not ready to let it go. Shame on him..

You end it badly because Wike is also a barrister, the only issue is that he seems not to have practice for long time before joining politics.
