You don’t know what you are saying if you think Nigerians are addicted after seeing how rice is worshipped in Asia.

Rice is like a staple from the gods in Asia!

Rubbish talk
I despise that toxic girl for her awkward understanding and definition of relationship, its standards and classifications. But what she said above is not rubbish talk and not out of place. It is something doable and people does it, though it's not a must, and again it depends on the level of existing relationship between the two families and which of the families is in better position to support the other instead. It is not a sole responsibility to anyone.

Do not despise the days of humble beginnings. Amos 4.
The guy may have gone through a lot. For him to pull through this harrowing economic calamity in the country, and even get his parents something for end of year celebration is worth thanking God for.
That's correct. What I mean is that, from the parents’ point of view, this isn’t appropriate. If you were one of the parents and came across this post unexpectedly, how would you feel?

Man celebrates buying his parents his first-ever bag of rice for Christmas.
One time I got home for Xmas and got my mum a new bed, bought them 12kg gas cylinder, repainted our parlor and refolded the old couches in the parlor and removed the old rugs and put new carpets.

Omo e come be like say heavens open with blessings. Two years later, I broke down the building and renovated it completely. From wooden doors and windows to foreign doors and glass windows. From cement floors to tiles in all spaces, from pit toilet at the edge of the compound to two toilets inside the building and a soak away system. From asbestos ceilings to pvc ceilings in the rooms and pop in the parlour and passages. From old rusted German roof to stone coated aluminium sheets. From flooded compound during rainy season to German floored compound even extending to my uncles side.
We finished that project and I was proud.

Today I'm about moving in to my own duplex in the town three years later.

Little by little, a win is a win.

Human beings have been eating food without oil since centuries when it was only during the 17th century people started using oil to cook.

This is why history should be taught in schools
