DevOps/cloud path + surveys as bridge income actually makes sense in this context. The problem with cloud certs is that AWS SAA, CKA, and similar ones take months of consistent study, and there's no income bump until you actually land a role. Having a side income source that doesn't require mental energy keeps the lights on without burning study time.

The risk is when the surveys start eating more hours than expected and the balance tips. Easy to end up doing 6-hour survey sessions and touching cloud material for 30 minutes.

I'm also on my learning path towards becoming a DevOps engineer..

But I went the ALX AWS route... Enrolled for ALX cloud computing programme. Certified with the Cloud Practitioner... Currently preparing for the solutions architect certification next month..
After which I plan to focus on learning Bash for a month, then Python till the end of the year.

Had some networking experience while working at my previous job as an IT support personnel.

Had to quit my job and went back to my parents house ("Go Hard or Go Home".... I choose to "Go Hard From Home" so I can fully dedicate this year towards getting foundational knowledge for cloud and other things I need to learn...

My learning path hasn't really been what I expected it to be... But I'm still grinding on it ...
