The culture of birthday celebration is a worldly and not a christian culture.

No apostle of Jesus ever celebrated themselves for anything, they always laboured and kept human celebration away while focusing on Christ.

Jesus was celebrated once during the triumphant entry, where he rode on donkey, and it was a symbolic event to fulfill prophesy. Not a yearly practice.

The only two places birthday was mentioned in the bible was done by Gentile Kings, not by Israelites. One was by Pharaoh, the new testament account by King Herod led to the beheading of John the Baptist.
