greatiyk4u:Exactly! The agency works for the rich only, so it's no different than any other in Nigeria. About two weeks ago, I wrote them that paystack illegally withheld my earnings and later refunded the money back to the senders for a service that I already provided to the customer. One was a gift. They refunded all without me nor the sender asking for a refund. I checked online and saw that when Paystack did same thing in Ghana, it was the Central Bank of Ghana and similar agency like the FCCPC that intervened and recovered the money for the citizen. So, I emailed the FCCPC twice but they didn't reply. I emailed the CBN, EFCC, and others. No reply, except that the CBN sent an auto reply. No agency came to my aid, and that's how I lost the money. I've been depressed ever since. I've lost all hope in Nigeria as a country. I no longer believe in Nigeria. This country and it's institutions is completely useless to the citizens who they're meant to serve. There's no hope for those of us who don't have "connections" I wrote about it in details at https://www.africason.com/2025/11/save-me-from-depression-and-possible.html |

IKEDC want a property owner to use one meter for 19 other properties (most likely flats)and because of that the property owner has not been able to rent or sell the properties for two and half years because having a separate pre-paid meter is a prerequisite for any tenant or buyer. So IKEDC is the party at fault here. I'm sure they wanted the complainant to pay some extra charges on top of the IKEDC fixed price for pre-paid meters. |

musicwriter:I just went through your blog via the link you posted. Asking for support for lawyers can come off as a red flag so you know, and then threatening your readers with self-harm isn't really the best. I know you are depressed but 'll advise that you take that part down and focus on a more positive experience with your readers. The support will come in due time. Stay Strong!! |

Ahmeduana:An agency, one of the few really standing for Nigerians decide to act to protect customers and you call them foolishly arrogant? I'd rather use the word foolishly ignorant, but not in reference to them. |

musicwriter:Did you write the company that paid you and the person that gifted you to resend the money through other means as the money was returned to them by paystack? Since it was legitimate transactions they would have sent the money back to you. Furthermore it is normal for such financial institutions to reverse reject or reverse money their system automatically flags as high risk, it is either it is blocked or refunded, this is to avoid them running against Eg money laundering laws governing their operations. Oga this time last year I had emergency and needed money, I tried fluttereave send app but for reasons I do not know it did not work, I called a friend in the UK that I know does business here in naija that he should give me his account details so I could transfer money from my UK account to his own while he gives me naira, Omo I tried 5 times it did not go, even when It went it returned to my account within minutes. Someone linked me to a person doing money transfer to Nigeria, I tried to transfer to the person's account, same thing it did not go. Guess what, I finally had to transfer to my brother's account and it went instantly! How come? I was told for what ever reasons those transactions was flagged through some funny algorithm in the banks network. Since you did a work for your money or it was gifted, then contact the sender to resend through other means. |

You are probably being targeted for the content on your website. Paystack may be distancing itself from you. You also have to consider the possibility that some bad actors spearheaded this. Your best bet is to move to crypto or any other platform that gives you control over your funds. I believe telegram has such a system in place. All the best bro. musicwriter: |

nedekid:This tells me you didn't read the details as advised on the link. The gift was from an anonymous reader of my blog. I don't know him. I contacted the person that made the other payment and he said he doesn't understand what I am talking about, then he stopped responding. The paystack payment system works exactly as the reason you couldn't do your transaction. It gives excessive false positives, so that it flags legitimate transactions as fraudulent. There was a time I got so many failed payments and complaints from customers of inability to pay me, so I decided to order my own product with my Mastercard. It declined me! That's basically how paystack works. The other reasons you gave of other payment gateways doing the same in other countries is not exactly the same scenario, in fact, I have used Stripe (US based company) and when I got $2,000 in a new account, they thought it was a fraud and I refunded it myself with the hope of receiving it another way as you said but after holding the money for as long as they wanted, they released the money back to my account, claiming that I won a charge back. I was surprised! |
