tunapawizzy:Bro there you got it all wrong, Nigeria type of politics, the President does not need to put a gun on their head, before they can shift gears. Mere silence means a lot + the allocation they are getting now, or you think they would want to go through the rigors Malami or Ngige is going through now? Do any how, you see any how. |

isio1:Yes, Tinubu wants everybody on his side, that is normal, every politician does. That is the game of politics, shopping for numbers. Every vote counts, whether it comes from a good person, a bad person, an opportunist, or a saint, it is still a vote, plus 1. Naturally, any politician is pleased when the opposition is weakened, that is the game, in politics, in life. You are the going for the sme prize, so the weaker they become, the better your chances. The people should direct their anger at their own local representatives who take them for granted, using the votes given to them to negotiate personal gains. Look at this rivers for example, the same set of people who once shouted “Nothing for APC!” and “Rivers no be Lagos!” are now the ones singing “On your mandate we shall stand” Tinubu’s purported inclination for a one-party state did not put that song in their mouths. Their own greed and lack of honour did. They simply want to cling to power at any cost, and the people should face them before facing Tinubu. So, blame the opposition figures who decamp to the APC for their personal gain, not the APC members who happily receive them. |

Brendaniel:Your post is highly IRRESPONSIBLE! I CLEARLY stated in my post that the now President 'Bola Tinubu's Television Continental or TVC bought innoson vehicles for their operations, yet you irresponsibly began to insult the same man. Further more, I stated that people and governments have the right of choice to buy whatever they want to buy. I CANNOT help you if you have cognitive dissonance? In the West of Nigeria, there are up to 5 indigenous automakers of Yoruba descent namely Pro Force owned by the United States-trained Engineer, Abayomi Ogundeyin was the FIRST EVER to make MRAP and armored vehicles since 2008, NORD makes CNG vehicles (I have a NORD in my fleet of private and company vehicles over there in Nigeria), Lanre Shittu Motors makes CNG buses, another Lagos-based company makes EVs, there's another car manufacturer located in Ekiti State. The East of Nigeria has 3 indigenous auto makers that I know of. Learn to read posts properly before typing IRRESPONSIBLY here? You are NOT talking to your young age mate here. I've been a veteran member of this discussion forum since 2005 or 20 years now and you totally come off as someone with terrible comprehension skills if you CANNOT decipher the positives in that post I made. |

PHIPEX:First off, I stand by my ORIGINAL statement which if you deduced properly had strong positive connotations in it (laced with constructive criticism). I was BRUTALLY honest and very clear in my summations. There are many manufacturers who use their own in-house designs and do NOT just lazily copy another man's products OR slap their own logos on another man's design or products from say China or India like some of these local car makers do. The end users who have good taste and will NOT settle for mediocrity here BUT want originality in design and more on any finished products! That's the major thrust of my post which you have misinterpreted and you went rambling on and going off the trail. I don't need to copy nobody's design. Pro Force Defence Industries located in Ogun State and owned by the brilliant United States-trained Engineer Abayomi Ogundeyin has MRAP and armored vehicles designs that are strictly theirs I personally have a CNG-fueled NORD among my fleet of vehicles over there in Nigeria. The NORD car plant is based in Lagos and manufactured by a guy from Abeokuta in Ogun State who once worked for Mercedes Benz in Germany. As a veteran investor and more with business interests in Nigeria as a Diasporan, I'm in FULL support of Nigeria-made products but with originality, NOT the bogus (cut and paste) you alluded to which China largely got away with to some extent BUT if you steal or copy existing Western products as a citizen of a developing or emerging country, they will sue the living daylights out of YOU because their manufactured products are fully patented or copyrighted! Period. |

ottersberger:STOP spewing hate speech and disinformation there and STOP focussing on that newspaper's headlines, instead READ the original body of the newspaper article to get the real story. The original body of newspaper story doesn't correlate with the headline. That newspaper interview (you and your ilk keep uploading as screenshots from one NL thread to the other), simply refered to Tinubu's interview granted back in the late 1990s with the veteran journalist Ayo Arowolo where he said he didn't believe in the way Nigeria was structured under the highly corrupt military dictatorship. If Bola Tinubu didn't believe in Nigeria, why did he come back to contest for the Lagos Gubernatorial elections and won. Tinubu's investments in several companies and firms. If he didn't believe in Nigeria he wouldn't have invested heavily in Nigeria. I'm FULLY aware that the now President 'Bola Tinubu's companies use innoson and other vehicle manufacturing companies such as NORD. Orders were also made for high-capacity CNG-fueled shuttle buses made in Lagos by Lanre Shittu Motors for moving passenger at the Lagos Airport. |

AlphaTaikun:Man, you're such a joke. As such, other than to reiterate that Ahmed Tinubu granted an interview in which he clearly stated that 'he does not believe in one Nigeria', I will not waste my time engaging with you or your lies. |

ottersberger:You sound totally IRRESPONSIBLE for trying to twist history. I can see that you are a bigot who already has a fixed mindset of spreading massive disinformation online. Do you think this discussion forum is a joke for you and your ilk to spread your insidious disinformation? That will NOT be allowed here! Coincidentally, I read that original newspaper article back in the late 1990s and there is NO where in that original newspaper article the then Senator 'Bola Tinubu ever said "he doesn't believe in Nigeria." He was INFACT referring in the body of that newspaper article to the way Nigeria "was then structured geopolitically under the dictatorial military rule" Is that too difficult for you to understand? The editor then used part of that interview to craft his headline. Till date, a lot of editors are notorious for taking parts interviews in the article body to create sensational headlines and attract traffic. I will block you once and for all because I have a very strong aversion for highly dishonest people who spin massive disinformation online to defame others because you CANNOT stand by the truth. Period. |

IJAYA001:This Fubara defection what do you think is the gain? The bargain is to allow Fubara to finish his term. Everyone agrees to this. The next is natural attrition. Don't allow him a breathing space even when he will not be impeached. That is being done. Wike is in control of both PDP and APC in Rivers State as of today. Parties are months away from gubernatorial primaries and Fubara doesn't have a stake in any of the major parties. If Fubara must recontest he will definitely defect to another party soonest. Quote me. The rumor will be that the presidency has asked him to defect and be supported from the party. |

AlphaTaikun:You still came back to write another load of nonsense, your claim that TVC bought Innoson doesn't prove Tinubu as a public office holder directly patronized them, at the time he was not holding any public office, TVC is privately owned and not a government station which runs its adminiistrative operations without Tinubu being involved directly, here you mentioned about 9 auto makers in Nigeria, so Tinubu didn't deem it fit to even patronize one out of the 9 as president, yet he tells Nigerians to patronize made in Nigeria product to grow the naira, someone who constantly runs away from Nigeria for even his treatment... Who is the joker here? You, Tinubu or both of you? During the military era, the military government patronized only assembled Peugeot made in Nigeria and we saw the impact it had on Peugeot sales in Nigeria, right from the head of state to all government parastatals, that's what it really means to lead by example not what Tinubu is doing. Yes they have every right to buy any vehicle they want to but why are they telling Nigerians to do what they cannot do as leaders who should be leading by example, what then is leadership about? You claim you have been here since 2005 and so fkin what, does that change any fact that you are busy supporting nonsense because of tribalism. Your living abroad and all your achievement doesn't still change that fact, I wrote something on frontpage yesterday and your comment here is just reflecting the same thing... This is the person some Yorubas rejected Osinbajo and Peter Obi for and labeled him the best the Yorubas could give Nigerians in 2023, one thing I have learnt from the last election is that tribalism can make education, intelligence, smartness, logic and common sense useless when making and taking decision... |

AlphaTaikun:If speaking the truth means what you wrote, that's your problem not mine, the main issue here is why is Tinubu not leading by example as the president with what he is telling Nigerians to do? Is he not the president of everybody including the state governments? why is he not leading by example? You can go ahead and block me, many of your type have done that here and constantly update the blocking even without having any conversation with them, I only see any person who blocks me as someone who hates to see the truth, I don't block any person and don't plan blocking any person. |
