Rev. Salau Olusola has stirred political conversations in Ogun State with a bold declaration that no alliance or coalition can defeat Prince Dapo Abiodun. He also asserted that the Ogun East Senatorial seat will “surely be occupied” by Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun in 2027, citing what he described as the governor’s “hard work and statewide impact” through the ISEYA Agenda, which he said cuts across all three senatorial districts.

Speaking at the main entrance of the Ogun State Government Office in Abeokuta, Rev. Salau addressed newsmen during a solidarity event organized by his political structure, the Rev. Olusola Salau Support Group for Prince Dapo Abiodun for Senate and Confirmed Mandate Asiwaju ’27.

He revealed that his group has now formed alliances with the Arewa Bloc and Igbo Bloc to boost grassroots mobilization for both President Tinubu (PBAT) and Governor Abiodun (PDA), emphasizing coordinated efforts to register and mobilize card-carrying residents ahead of the next election cycle.

Rev. Salau also announced that he and his supporters have defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), arguing that the party has “lost political strength and opposition relevance” and is now, in his words, “a dead political party that can no longer win at any level.”

The solidarity gathering featured leaders and members of the newly formed blocs, with Rev. Salau reiterating their commitment to sustained mobilization efforts leading up to 2027.
