exactly, I believe people with ulterior motives do this nonsense. Once I see disappearing messages I completely distrust the person, same as viewing my status without me knowing.

Same here... And with those read receipt off. I don't complain at all or try to correct the person, I just include them in my mental blacklist of people I should never trust

They are shady my ex I never knew he had a fiancee until I was informed by another person she is pregnant and he is preparing to marry her he turns on disappearing message even he doesn't have read receipt I thought it was just a cruise
