It is interesting that a much higher percentage of people believe in the existence of heaven than believe in the existence of hell. According to the Bible, though, hell is just as real as heaven. The punishment of the wicked in hell is as never-ending as the bliss of the righteous in heaven. Jesus Himself indicates that punishment in hell is just as everlasting as life in heaven (Matthew 25:46). The wicked are forever subject to the fury and the wrath of God. Those in hell will acknowledge the perfect justice of God and the lordship of Jesus Christ, the Savior they rejected (Psalm 76:10; Philippians 2:10–11).

Yes, hell is real. Yes, hell is a place of torment and punishment that lasts forever and ever, with no end. Praise God that, through Jesus, we can escape this eternal fate (John 3:16, 18, 36).

So a perfect example will be...Think of your favorite food! Lets assume Bean and plantain..
You go to a wedding and at the reception of the wedding you meet a buffet and on the table, rice and chicken,
eba and all kinds of soups, catfish and chips and bean, plantain.
Where would you go?
For sure if you are really hungry you will go to your love (bean and plantain).
Assuming the wedding is the afterlife, you choose where you will go to based on your desire, that is why the bible talks about being
judged based on our desire.
Even if at the wedding you had friends pleading with you to join them to eat rice and chicken, you will still go for the bean and plantain.
Remember when you die, nothing changes, you are still the same person with. the same character and desires just that you have left
your body and you are now spirit, those desires and senses are now magnified 1000x. So one who loves evil will be attracted to evil.
And God in his wisdom and love has provided a place where those who love evil can live together and sadly that place is hell.

God gave humans two options:

Everlasting life in Paradise. Psalms 37:29

Everlasting destruction. Psalms 37:9-11

What God declared to Adam (the first and foremost sinner) is either to choose life or death. Genesis 2:17; Deuteronomy 30:19

GOD ALMIGHTY did not send you or burn you in Hell.
You choose to go to hell by yourself.
GOD will not force himself on us.

What does a Judge gain when he sentence criminal to prison.

Hell is a place as well as a state. Hell is a place of separation from God, and also the consequence of being separated from God.

Everyone is born into sin and when they sin they are separated from God in spirit.

The Bible says the wages of sin is death, meaning when you sin God pays you with death. However, there is first death and there is second death.

The first death is reversible but the second death involves the body, soul and spirit and it is irreversible.

There is physical death and there is Spiritual death.

Death means a separation either of the soul and spirit from the body which is the physical death or the separation of the Spirit from God.

If humans die physically and Spiritually then they will die the second death.

What that means is that if you are a liar, fornication, adulterer, idolater, a thief, a heretic, a witch or a wizard or one etc you are dead spiritually already but if you are not saved now and you die physically plus your already dead spiritual state you will first of all be confined to hell and on the day of judgment you will be raised body, soul and Spirit and thrown into the lake of fire!

So hell is for people who have died both physically and Spiritually.
Anybody who continues to live without God with he or she doing whatever they feel like according to their mind are already on their way to hell, if they die then they will be confined to hell before they are finally thrown into the lake of fire.
Hell is for people who die in sin !
What does God gain? God is a holy God people love to say that God is all powerful and all knowing but they forget other attributes of God that are equal to his knowledge and might and above all they forget God is Holy! Holy!! Holy!!! God does not tolerate sin in any shape or form.

The good news is that Jesus has taken your place and suffered for you so that if you accept him God may forgive you and give you a better life. The life God gives to those who believes in his Son is called eternal life.

If you recieves christ in this life, God will you eternal life immediately so that when you die you will be with Jesus and at Jesus coming he will raise you body, soul and Spirit into immortality, incorruption, glory, far beyond anything you can imagine and finally when God destroy this universe he will build a far better one and there will be your home.
