One disadvantage of the western world: your kids might become weirdos.

Last week alone, I saw a thread about two Nigerians who killed their parents. There are very rude children in Naija too. Many children are also very respectful abroad. They say "yes ma'am" and "yes sir" to adults. But I found that many white kids are more respectful than black (not africans) raised kids because many blacks are single moms and are hardly avilable due to work schedule. Additionally, there are states in the United States, like Missouri, that allow you to beat your kids. Don't just wound them in the process. Browse it.

It is not about traits as there is nothing like good or bad traits biologically or genetically as far as behaviour is concerned. You're talking about mimicking father's behaviour, more like garbage in garbage out.
Father has to set good examples always and set boundaries and be firm about it

I don't beat my kids or inflict pains on them but they sure behave themselves all the time

I guess your kids haven't reached the age when you'd get to know who they really are or when they'd show you their true colours. It's only after that age when they can face off with their parents that you can say for sure your approach has really worked ... but, I doubt it ever works! Mind you, kids can pretend to be all obedient and submissive, but just wait till they're at the age of asserting themselves or when they believe they've come of age than to be the kids they used to be, kids that their parents pushed around.

Yes, I know nah. But that one no talk sey make dem mumu finish. There are ways you can train your kids without necessarily hitting them. They are your kids, not your friends.

I'm sure there's no father figure in that house. If there was, boy would have thought of the consequences of his actions. But he knows his mum, all she would do is cry and he'll tell her sorry later and they move on. Next time the mum will not try nonsense with him again😁

She obviously didn't train her kid appropriately, I know some black American parents that are very strick with their kids and those kids listens and obey them.

Probably a product of single mother. This is the consequences of sparing the rod and spoiling the child. A well trained well, disciplined child would never do such.
Today's kids are over mollied and over pampered that's why they behave like animals.

We in education sector are facing lots cos of these useless formats. In schools now, students must be pampered, no discipline again and everything is falling apart. Very soon there won't be teachers again

This just shows the mom was never firm with her son...he has no iota of respect for her as his mother....child services should just come take him.
