The Bible actually predates the "white" man. That the Bible was translated into English and handed down to us doesn't make it a white man's invention. Also, the God of the Israelites, He is the God of gods, the King of kings and Lord of lords. The creator of the Universe. And say what you like, believe what you may, God is real. And like Righteousness stated, Jesus (God in human form - for with our God, nothing shall be impossible - Mark 10:27), one who saw it all right from the beginning and who has been in Heaven and has gone through the depths of Hell and back said. "Fear Him, who after killing the body hath the power to cast the soul in Hell"

"And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever" - Rev 20:10.

God does not desire that anyone should end up in Hell. That dreadful, horrible place was meant for the Devil and the demons.

I know it's a stretch for many people - this whole simple "believe and confess your sins and you will be saved" jingos, right? Sounds too easy to be what one needs to do to be saved. But it is what it is.

And yes, the 5-yead old example you stated is exactly the type of people God wants - apt. I believe God doesn't want to complicate things.

The concept of Heaven and Hell is to empower the leaders (spiritual or political) to enjoy this life to the fullest, making the followers to be docile to their authorities and command promising them good life after earth in heaven. The same good life the leaders on earth are enjoying, not waiting to get it in heaven.

Bible was written in an era when capital punishment involved throwing people in lions' den, stoning, crucification and incineration. Lesser crimes attracted public brain reset with canes. When you start questioning all the stories in the Bible. You will start to question ur faith about organize religion. From tower of Babel, Noah to Moses this characters are not recorded any where in history except the Bible. The most shocking one is Israelite enslavement in Egypt was not recorded by the Egyptian except the stories on the Bible.
