Gabriel Jesus should rightfully bench Gyokeres in due time. Nothing concern me with whatever amount they use buy Gyokeres. He has refused to deliver so we just need to move on abeg |

Disappointing and Worrying. Immediately Tolu score, i saw Pep and Haaland celebrating just like that upper season when they overtook. Well, Escobar d'Or should do it. But its time we return to the era where dem Laca+Auba+Xhaka dey shoot shot and shoot fast. I know they packed the bus sha but we need this. Gyokores was off tonight. Infact the front 3 |

We need to stop the nonsense habit of letting teams take the rein and falling back needlessly. Everyone saw that Wolves goal coming. Like why tf are you defending? If you wan defend, do so resolutely. Rubbish |

Arteta will sooner or later have to do something about his selection of attacking midfielder and wingers. |

I'll take the win but it was a shambolic display by the boys at the Emirates stadium Someone should talk to Ordegard with the way he holds ball unnecessary, turning like a hornee cock only to kill the momentum with another silly pass, Captain needs to do better Happy for Gabriel Jesus for the goal, the guy will eventually bench this Gyorkeres ooo Unless injury happens to Trossard, Martinelli should always come in the second half, that boy is so frustrating to watch |

saka 0 shots on target, Gyokeres 0 shots on target, Martinelli 0 shots on target, Eze 0 shots on target, Trossard 0 shots on target, Odegaard 0 shots on target Overall, our attack was dissapointing Our left wing is a wing of particular concern No hope that either martinelli or trossard can beat their man and deliver decent cross to the box. All our attack is concentrated on the right wing. Eze was not really involved in the game at all Odegaard holds on to the ball too much twisting and turning aimlessly and killing flow of the attack.. Gyokeres was not sharp enough to connect to Saka's cross in the first half but he lacks services overall Saka is the only player that looks threatening in our attack trying to take on player and create something. 3 points is all that matters I hope there is improvement in the next game |

We'll take the 3 points, thank God there are no midweek matches next week. We need the players to recoup their energy and bounce back better. We've still got this |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 11:35pm On Dec 13, 2025 |
Gabzy1:I do not really believe Gyokeres lacks service overall, I think his positioning when off the ball is usually questionable which makes it difficult for teammates to pass the ball to him for fear of him being easily dispossessed. When the ball gets to his feet he also struggles to take the right decisions. Maybe he really needs to understudy his fellow attackers in the team like Merino, Jesus and Havertz to see how they move which makes it easier for wingers and Midfielders to seek them out with incisive passes. |

Im glad everyone is talking out here and on X Even Piers is pissed. iF this was a top 6 rival, the counter bants would suffice. But this is the worst team in epl. And they got a goal vs us?!! Naaaah. Whatever Arteta plan was for this game, it failed woefully. It didn't work. It just didn't work. We have 6 easy fixtures coming up. Should we be concerned about potential drop of points like last season? Abeg o... Imagine Tolu getting goal vs Raya. Eiiii. Some things are cringey abeg. But none is as cringey as us unable to score our own goal under 90mins and unable to get a shot on table after 35mins. This should not repeat again a bottom 8 team abeg |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Gabzy1(m): 12:10am On Dec 14, 2025 |
BlueRayDick:I will still assume he is still adapting, he showed signs of improvement against Burnley. He could have easily won man of the match if he was not subbed off due to injury. I think he should be given more time. Look at the opportunity Martinelli missed in the second half, Gyokeres was in the right place for a tap-in if only Martinelli had looked up and given the right pass to him instead of going for goal. My main concern for now is how we can breakdown the low block either from the left wing or midfield. |

Torrrh. Denial can't continue again. manager has hinted that this 9 is indeed getting into place but service is poor and it's a work in progress. We meuve. E be like na pressure dey cause this acceptance of situation las las. Going forward, if we want to get an attacker, that attacker must be bought early on so they can join preseason. Any other zone can come late. |

daveP:Arteta's quote on Gyokeres after the game “There's a collaboration between the two [Gyokeres and midfielders]. He was in a lot of really good positions and the ball didn't get into the area quick enough, sharp enough, or just with the precision that is required for a nine to score a goal. But his work and intentions were there and we need to keep insisting.” |

Gabzy1:Exactly. Before they say he's not doing his bit. Service needs to increase. Better days though. Me just wished they focus on him vs these small teams and use the grand approach vs big teams. Better days soon. |
