Take mine as an example, I was the football coach of my department. We were trailing in a Dean's cup tournament by a lone goal. Suddenly, the university main soccer team came around to get immediate usage of the main bowl. We had about 20 minutes left and the referee abruptly ended the game, a final at that.
I literally went berserk because this action went against all norms and convention.
Thank God for a friend, the departmental president that pulled me away while they had started fishing for my name and matric number.
On top of the injustice, the Dean used abrasive words and showed partiality cuz we were playing against his department.
Put all these together and decide if you wouldn't have over reacted

You'll see a so called educated adult human being clearly assaulting another adult human being that he's meant to educate, yet people would come out to criticise the person that is being assaulted.
Normally in a place that things work, the lecturer would first be suspended before any investigation begins.
Tell me, what is the use of your education, if you must use violence to resolve issues especially on someone that is meant to be below you in the hierarchy of things.

In every front as a student, you stand to lose more when you fight your teacher. It's in this instance, you make peace, find a common ground.

Jesus said something, if someone is suing you and you have the option to make peace, do it before you get to court.

If your DVC say make you sit down. Sit first.

Chances of that student not graduating now is very high. So what exactly is the point of the bravery?
