PRESS RELEASE

TROOPS OF OPHK THWART ISWAP ATTACK ON FOB MAIRARI, DESTROY TERRORISTS VBIEDs, LOGISTICS

Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have successfully repelled a coordinated attack by ISWAP terrorists on a Forward Operating Base (FOB) in Mairari, dealing a decisive blow to the group’s operational capability in the area. The assault, which began late on 12 December 2025 and continued into the early hours of 13 December, was thwarted through coordinated ground and air operations.

During the attack, terrorists attempted to breach the base using two Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Devices (VBIEDs). Both devices were promptly detected and neutralised by the troops, preventing any penetration of the base. CCTV footage and field observations confirmed that several terrorists were killed, while others sustained serious injuries as surviving elements evacuated their dead and wounded.

Following the failed assault, OPHK troops of Sector 3, supported by the Theatre Command Quick Reaction Group, Nigeria Police Crack Team, and Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), conducted a thorough exploitation of the area. The operation led to the discovery of multiple terrorist casualties and the seizure of weapons, ammunition, and logistics abandoned during their retreat.

Recovered items included AK-47 rifles, magazines and ammunition, PKT rounds, hand grenades, motorcycles, communication devices, combat gear, medical supplies, and other materials indicative of sustained terrorist operations. These recoveries have further degraded the terrorists’ operational capacity and deny them freedom of action in the area.

The two neutralised VBIEDs were destroyed by OPHK defensive fire, causing damage to two points along the road. Importantly, there was no breach of the FOB, highlighting the preparedness, vigilance, and resilience of the troops.

Troops are currently conducting aggressive patrols in the area to prevent further terrorist activity and reassure local communities of the continued security presence.

Troops remain resolute in their commitment to decisively defeat all terrorist elements and restore lasting peace and stability across the North East. The failed attack at Mairari underscores the operational readiness and professionalism of our men and women in uniform.

Operation HADIN KAI continues to prioritise the protection of civilians, the disruption of terrorist networks, and the restoration of peace across the region.

Islamophobia and some Muslims committing crimes are not mutually exclusive, two truths can co-exist. Suddenly you found your voice but some days ago you were nowhere to be found when the news of crime committed by your tribesmen was posted on this same thread. This selective outrage and condemnation by some of you only exposed the fact that you're not interested in truth sharing but agenda.

Imo Police uncover hotel and mortuary allegedly used for kidnapping, organ harvesting in Ngor Okpala, Imo State

Operatives of the Imo State Police Command have uncovered a hotel and a mortuary allegedly used by a criminal syndicate for kidnapping, ransom collection and organ harvesting along the Airport–Owerri–Aba Road in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area.

The discovery, announced on Saturday, followed weeks of covert surveillance ordered by the Commissioner of Police, Imo Command, CP Aboki Danjuma, after a series of disturbing reports of kidnapping attacks on motorists in the Ngor Okpala axis.

According to police accounts, intelligence-led investigations revealed that one High Chief Stanley Oparaugo, also known as “Morocco,” of Ngor Okpala, is the suspected kingpin of the syndicate. He allegedly owns Jessy Best Hotel, Ihitte Okwe, and a nearby mortuary known as Ugwudi, both situated along the Airport–Owerri–Aba Road.

Police said the gang lured victims into the hotel, where they were robbed, abducted and forced to pay ransom. Several victims who reportedly paid ransom were never seen again by their families.

Further investigations indicated that victims were moved from the hotel to the mortuary, where they were allegedly killed and their body parts harvested for sale to criminal buyers.

Led by CP Danjuma, police operatives visited the scene, where Jessy Best Hotel was found completely deserted. At the Ugwudi mortuary, officers discovered several mutilated corpses, believed to be victims of the operation.

The police said efforts are ongoing to track down the fleeing High Chief Oparaugo and members of his criminal gang.

The operation was conducted in collaboration with the Imo State Commissioner for Health, the Chairperson of Ngor Okpala Local Government Area and local vigilante groups. Tactical teams, including the ACP in charge of operations, the Divisional Police Officer for Ngor Okpala and community vigilantes, have been deployed to take over the area and prevent further criminal activity.

The Imo State Police Command urged residents to remain vigilant and continue providing information that could assist in the ongoing investigation.

Criminals regardless of their religious affiliation will attack whoever they wish to attack let's take for example the Christchurch Attack of a Mosque in New Zealand where a man named Brenton Tarrant opened fire and murdered 50 worshippers, in your country of residence gun related murder is almost a daily occurrence so much so that a former industrial city of Philadelphia is renamed Killadelphia.

Australian media have identified Ahmed al-Ahmed as the bystander filmed tackling and disarming an armed man during a deadly attack at a Jewish holiday event at Sydney’s Bondi Beach.

According to Australian media reports, al-Ahmed is a 43-year-old Sydney local who owns a fruit shop. A relative told Australian outlet 7News that the father of two was shot twice during the incident.

There are 20 women. All have different opinions. They have different stands on feminism, patriarchy and the likes.

Team F and Team P.

Team P has 8 supporters. 4 are a very beautiful. Team P is pro-Patriachy.

They fight and argue. But whenever those 4 beautiful members of Team P make a case for Team P, some members of Team F go, "I don't blame you. You have big butts, breasts, and pretty faces so you don't know the struggles of the everyday woman. All your commonsense have been stored in your big butts and breasts, with those your large hips."

Pray tell, how do their body structures and facial aesthetics relate to the debates about feminism?

So because they are curvier than others, they should be deprived of the right to debate issues concerning womanhood?

On X, why is that feminists seem to attack the married females of Patriarchy FC more than the single ones? The answer is obvious. If you say resentment laced with envy then you're not wrong.

Why not focus on punching holes in the arguments of those curvy members of Team P instead of pointing out their looks every time to gaslight or deflect?

Soon enough it becomes obvious why these curvier women of Team P are always singled out while the less curvy members of Team P sometimes get a pass.

Arguments/debates have to be issue-based.

It beholds on me to point out the flaws of such discriminatory takes because if I were a pro-BAT poster, I'd have been gaslighted as just "defending his fellow agbadorians". You know this would have been the line used to counter me.

Bosun Tijani? Suegbe? That's a top 5 performing Minister in this government.

That you call Bosun a "suegbe" is proof you're not active in and follow what happens in that space.

Maybe I am biased towards him because he's the only Minister who has so far kept his head low to do his job, interacts with regulars on X to give updates and answer questions, and is always respectful while being innovative.

He lied this time, we agree. Bosun can sure trace all those calls and messages but if his principal Tinubu isn't willing enough to act and our CDS, COAS, and Ministers of Defence are always fingered to be sympathetic to terrorists, I don't think there's really anything Bosun can do. And he sure wouldn't throw his colleagues under the bus when the world is watching.

But has Bosun performed in his role as Minister? Blueraydick, he has.
How has bosun performed?
What's the totality of his duties (especially his ministry) and how has he hit the expected targets?

There are well to do people in this country!

Aren't there?

There are well to do people who built businesses here in Nigeria.

There are even employees who have lucrative side businesses in Nigeria.

Some of them had a headstart because they studied a very lucrative course in university.

Some of them, after studying what Ibime would not endorse, had to pivot to a lucrative field.

I know someone who studied Philosophy in the University of Benin, but before even gaining admission, he had known about computer programming/software development and had started learning it. This is someone who finished secondary school in 2007, and had even started learning software development before he left secondary school.

Sometimes I think about how he got to know about software development before 2007 when information was extremely scarce then.

Now, he would always say he needs to know algorithms if he would be able to work in very big organisations (This is growth and realism, not wishful thinking). This is someone who hates everything Nigeria more than you do, because he hates Tinubu, he hates Atiku, he hates Obi, all of them.

This person I'm talking about has been doing remote jobs since more than 3 years now, and he is doing extremely okay.

Change your mindset, Spy.

Lastly, a lot of people are doing extremely okay in Nigeria. Many of them had to do two times or even three times the effort you put in.
Lmao those people doing extremely well that don't leave, they are most likely setting up their kids to japa or have already done that sef.

But hey 🙏

🔸Living in Nigeria does not give anyone the monopoly of truth.

🔸Being outside Nigeria does not erase concern or connection.

🔸Living abroad does not disqualify anyone from commenting on the issues facing Nigerians and Nigeria.

🔸Distance no be ignorance. Sometimes it gives clarity and enables people to assess situations better. Person no gats dey inside fire to know say the house dey burn.

🔸Many people abroad still send money home, pay rent, pay school fees, support relatives and feel every policy failure/success through their loved ones.

🔸Even in Nigeria, there are people who support/oppose the current government.

🔸The NL abroadians that support this government do so due to reasons best known to them.

🔸Whether Nigeria-based or Abroadian, support or oppose who you want and stop throwing around labels.

Geographical location does not confer superiority of opinion. I rest my fingers.
Actually the opinion is useless when their opinion is to mock when people in the situation are complaining.

It's a general rule anywhere.
It's like when someone in MB is talking about killings and you are arguing and mocking the reality. See how it's now stupid talk.

What exactly did you expect Bosun Tijani to do that he hasn't done yet? Make a list.

When he came onboard, the first thing he did was create and democratize access to custom tech MOOCs and training centers.

Secondly, he was the first to create access for government-backed VC funds.

I could go on and on. Bosun isn't perfect but he's certainly a top 5 minister of the Tinubu government.

Again, what do you expect of Bosun that he hasn't done in his role as Minister?

The only one I'll fault him for is the non-implementation of I-DICE in its original model which I kept pointing to Larride would be derailed since 2022.

Has any Western company purchased piggyvest yet? Putting money in start-ups or tech companies owned majorly by Nigerians is very risky.
They can wake up one day and pull everything without notice. It has already happened with Patricia and many others.

I just hope FG don't allow piggyvest to fail because if the owners disappear or pull some funny stunt, it won't be funny oh.
