The Nigerian immigration officers at point of entry allow these foreigners on a leisure trip to stay for business reasons. The Chinese and indians will come and later become bosses and pay their thites to the top immigration officers and other officers on their necks. Mr Shehu Sani, they don't come to seek greener pastures but to take advantages of the poor porous system |

Mandesz:@Mandesz Did you inform the security agencies about this as of 3 years ago? This is a revenue loss for Oyo State and Nigeria with the lithium deposit being taken to Hong Kong in China. There MUST be a beneficiation plant to add value to that lithium instead of allowing these precious metals to be smuggled out raw! Tbh, the Chinese have among them people who engage in opaque activities whenever they are abroad and this is why they have to be monitored. They have legit Chinese entrepreneurs, but give some of them space and they will take more than they are supposed to take as can be seen in their involvement in the exploitation of gold in Ghana. |

IkpuMmadu:Succinctly put by Senator Shehu Sani. BUT it's NOT all of them that are legit and they work in tandem with some saboteurs from among the Nigerians for financial inducements. A vast number of especially Indians, Lebanese, Chinese, see hidden opportunities in every country, then they get the needed single-digit funds from offshore financial institutions (and some Nigerian-based financial institutions) to take advantage of manufacturing and import-export businesses some Nigerians CANNOT see or complain about. However, there are many Nigerians I'm aware of too who are seeing business gold mines and opportunities laced as "dirt" which some complain about. The immigrant drive is ALWAYS strong as well so they are usually NOT in Nigeria to play games just the same way Nigerians in other countries do NOT go there to play games or count the numbers of bridges abroad in the United States, United Kingdom, Cote D'Ivoire, etc. |

franchasofficia:Nice logic but what of Lebanon? You deliberately skipped them to suit your narrative that Chinese and Indians are doing well because their govt supports them Cos you and I know Lebanon is as poor as nigeria and are unstable . So final summation is shehu sani is right you don't need to leave the country to make it , there are lots of young Nigerians breaking through and succeeding the reason you don't know it is because you spend your time on news that talks about negative aspects of nigeria , most Nigerians on social media spend their time on rubbish and wonder why they are not growing, This year a colleague of mine in tech got Mastercard funding of $100k for her biz right here in nigeria , there are lots of opportunities in nigeria but few people get to know or utilise it and our leaders like it like that cos they can now take advantage and benefit from those resources. |

thats cause the entire world belongs to oyinbo and their Indian, Chinese and Lebanese cousins, they have a far better chance of success than dark skinned people in any country in any part of the world,Shehu Sany western agent is talking trash. They are literally clearing out northern Nigeria by genocide for this same people. Fun fact, if you look at pictures of Egypt whilst Suez canal was being built or panama when panama canal was being built you will notice it was the nubian dark skinned population in that nation being used as slave labor to build the canals, after the canals were complete those dark skinned people in reach nation were wiped out never to be seen again. As dark skinned Nigerian , you dont owe Nigeria anything other than your family, cause even your village belongs to oyinbo, and Nigerian government is a Nazi state that operates on giving priority to those with lighter skin complexion. Thats is why there are companies inside Nigeria that can advertise jobs for Indians only. And rightly so cause the Planet belongs to thier Oyinbo cousin. But you as dark skinned Nigerian dont owe Nigeria anything , it a racist Nazi occupation state currently sponsoring terrorists to wipe out dark skin Nigerians, whilst welcoming Indians, Chinese and Lebanese with red carpet, and rightly so, cause they own the world. Dont let sellout shehu sani confuse you , the government sponsored terrorists and kidnappers arent looking for Chinese, Lebanese or Indian. They have a world, you dont have a country. Dont hesitate to go where ever you have to go o survive, including outer if you can build space ship. Hence you the dark skinned Nubians of the world have a greater need than anybody else in the world to support each other. |

SpaceX:The Lebanese community in Nigeria has a longstanding history of dark and illegal business in Nigeria (illegal trade, drug smugling, etc, ). It's fundamentally important to cross-examine comprehensively Lebanese activities in the country. The Lebaneses get an official job to cover up dubious activities. Time is ripe to shed light on them before Nigeria finds itself unknowingly and unwillingly sponsoring terrorist activities and becomes disgraced internationally. |

yinkeys:I'm certainly NOT naive. I have a background in criminal investigations and as a man who has been alive for decades with access to crime statistics of over 40 years at my disposal, I'm aware of the fact that some traditional rulers, are aware alongside other security variables. The wave of foreign Fula herdsmen migration from the West African Sahel countries into parts of the North, Middle Belt, West of Nigeria and East of Nigeria have the imprint of some of these traditional rulers who welcome gifts of cows from these Fulas to operate or tender to their own cows. Most of the cows in the East of Nigeria don't belong to the Fulas but to Ibo dealers who hire the Fulas to take care of them based on credible info from some top members of Miyetti Allah. Crime reports specific to the mining sector can be formerly made to the office of the Minister of Mines, the Police HQ where special Police investigators and IRT units can be deployed and the DSS for major sting operations and follow-ups if reporting at a local police station can lead to intel being compromised. Period. |

Shehu is partially right. Like the popular saying that "a prophet lacks honor in his home town" it is easier for an immigrant to notice opportunities and take advantage of it than for the citizens who will generally see same as challenges and would feel entitled to government assistance. There different categories of immigrants coming to Nigeria; the investors, the blue collar expatriate and the oppurtunistic enterpreneur. Many indians and some chinese fall in the blue collar category, you can put these ones greener pastures category. There are also many chinese / lebanese/ indian/ other investors bringing million of dollars in foreign investment into Nigeria many investing in oil/gas/steel/manufacturing etc. Finally you have the opportunistic enterpreneur who see challenges in Nigeria and built solutions and startup for it, a good example is opay, jumia and gokada. The latter you need so much because they employ a lot of Nigerians. Every country is looking for this last category, infact many countries spend a lot and give incentives to attract them. Many here are saying yes they have cheap capital thats why they are investong here. Quite the opposite. There are many Nigerians here and in the diaspora with loads of cash and capital that are not ready to take even the slightest risk of investing in Nigeria but these foreigners are. They rather prefer to buy expensive cars, private jets, buy multiple properties, hotels and bars everywhere or keep it in foreign banks or crypto. |

Nigerians japa to oyinbo countries even if they are earning N10 million a month in Nigeria, because they have been brainwashed that the white man's ice is colder and everything white is superior and God and Jesus Christ is a white man. So they will prefer to leave a decent job to go and be doing menial jobs abroad in the name of japa. |

Many people make good points here; why we fail to see opportunities at home because the blame is ours. Those Indians and Chinese start from very little just like Nigerians that succeed abroad. Some here are making the lame excuses Black Americans make about Nigerians and other foreigners in America. Easy loans, discrimination and lack of access to markets. Somebody here put it right. Where Nigerians at home complain of lack of opportunities, foreigners are willing to turn obstacles into opportunities, into markets, into one man business to many people's businesses. What machine, technology or capital do you need needs to turn INDOMI and eggs into national basic food, replacing our tastes? The amount of millions in naira people come on social media asking where they can japa to, Indians and other Asians use less to establish in Nigeria. They start by living on top of one another. This is how successful Nigerians start abroad but would never live that way in Nigeria. While Black Americans want to start and live big like Nigerians at home. It is not only Indians, Koreans and Chinese that are making it in Nigeria, most other African do and are thrilled to get Nigerian VISA! |
