Exactly.

No other proposed State in the South South has gained a quarter of the prominence Anioma has.

There is no competition.
CSTRR:
Anioma is the most likely state. The real question is which region it will fall under.

Ijaw and the rest don't stand a chance. They don't have the human capital to compete with us either economically or at the national assembly.
GEJ is no longer president.

South East is like the Israel of Nigeria, waging an existential war on different fronts, from West to North, to defend its identity, while being economically sustained by its entrepreneurial ingenuity.

We Anioma people did a solidarity match today the 15th of December in Asaba to show full support for the creation of Anioma state and its South East zoning.

Even Urhobo people who are laergest ethnic group in Delta want Anioma state to be created, so that they can have the upper hand and take capital to Warri.
Yet, I don’t know why SW people that are living very far from the zone are having sleepless night over Anioma

Btw, it seems the people pushing for joining the SE region are folks from aniocha and oshimili.
They want to push the entire anioma into a unique set of problems.

They should be very well aware that Ika will not stand with them on this.

What a grown man sees while sitting, a child will not see even on a roof top.
I don't even think Ndokwa (aka Kwale) want to be part of Anioma

We Igbos in Delta state, can not wait for this to happen, let's reunite with our brothers,we are not asking too much...Pls let us be the sixth Eastern state,it is long overdue.
If you say we are not Ndigbo, why then did you massacre our fathers in Asaba in oct 1967,now infamously known as the Asaba massacre, carried out by 2nd infantry division of the Nigerian army, led by Murtala Muhammad and Ibrahim Taiwo!
Either you don't know what you're talking about or you don't understand geo politics. The sixth Eastern state should be carved from the core east. Anioma can still be created, but should remain in the south south zone. This benefits the Igbos more.

Anioma have benefited so much from being part of South South Delta, so a huge proportion of Anioma sons and daughter will prefer to remain in the South South Geopolitical zone.

Any group that wants a state should be given a state. That is the idea in the independence constitution but states should not be equally represented at any level. States are not equal.

CSTRR:
Delta north is the most progressive part of Delta state.

Now imagine joining folks with their "monday sit at home" madness.
That is backwardness.
The South East didn't come together to do ñSit at home. It wasn't initiated by their government and so anioma joining east will not make them to do sit at home. Many places in the same east don't do it. Enugu, awka, Owerri, Ebonyi , Umuahia don't do it.

The same bridge joining the two cities of asaba and Onitsha will continue joining it. Anioma will not develop legs and migrate to the Onitsha side of the bridge.

Create anioma state, which is fine and good.

But there is absolutely nothing to gain Joining the SE.
Not with IPOB and UGM having a free rein there.

Anioma would be best as a south south state.

Don't make costly mistakes that would affect generations.

But the population of Niger state is not up to half that of the population of Anambra. State creation is based on population, not size of land
Then if it by population, Lagos and Kano State deserves to be divided I to more states

Ebonyi Abakaliki is in South East but you hardly hear IPOB UGM there.

Likewise Abia, even though NK comes from there you hardly hear their activities there.

No dey cap! Everything is about good security network and nothing will happen!

Not everyone in Anioma shares your sentiments, those protesting want join the SE. In reality though, the only way Anioma State can ever be created is its the 6th State of the South-East as nobody is going to create it so that South South can be seven states
