All the protesters there are paid protesters. Anioma state is dead on arrival. Make on a go sit down one place. |

CSTRR:These random young posters here on NL working for Ned Nwoko via some propaganda YouTube videos online and offline MUST RESPECT other Anioma people's ethnic origins and historical experiences and STOP pushing them into accepting to join the South East. The Asagba of Asaba, the Dein of Agbor Kingdom and many Anioma folks such as George Onyeibe from Ikaland who is visible in videos and used to be an ip*b member BUT resigned (just like Uche Mefor and others did) have spoken powerfully. Ned Nwoko has also be sued to court for pursuing a mission that all Anioma indigenous communities did NOT send him to do. Period. |

AlphaTaikun:The people protesting about Anioma State creation, it being added to the South-East, have good reason to do so. The resolution of the national assembly is that one more state should be created for the South-East, the only zone with 5 states The only chance of creating Anioma state is if it put in the South-East, as no one, not even Northerners and Westerners, are going to accept the South South climbing to 7 states while most of them stay at 6. The South-East won't support something that will keep them at 5 states while South South climbes to 7 states. So if Anioma insists on staying in the South South, which is their right, they should forget everything about Anioma State creation. And the South-East can look at other alternatives such as Adada State, Etiti State and Orlu State. Ned Nwoko knew that for Anioma state to ever be possible, it needed the massive support of the South-East, who were willing to embrace those they regard as brothers. Utterances by people mainly from Ndokwa and Ika, as well as the Asagba of Asaba, has since made the South-East to have a rethink But nobody is going to support the South South climbing to 7 states, leaving others at 6, and the South-East remains at 5. |

Ezeama400:These are not Anioma people! These are people that took bus from Onitsha to Asaba to protest what doesn't concern them. When you've stayed with these group of people, you'll understand how they think and act. They did it during ENDSARS |

gidgiddy:Actually a state is a state whether in SE or SS. There is no difference. The zones hold no significance at all. Then as per number of senators the most cheated are the NW and SW. The most cheated on the overall is SW because they not only have the population but are also contributing tax revenue in form of VAT for others to eat. SS contribute natural resources and natural resources is not tax. Nobody put it there. The fair federation is one where your revenue will determine your representation in government. A state with 100 billion naira in tax revenue should have ten times the representation of one with ten billion. That is the only fair way. Every other thing is cheating |

AlphaTaikun:You are dealing with those who have no regard for the wishes of others. Do you know that after Adaka Boro made it very clear where the Niger Delta didn't want to be part of , Ojukwu still kidnapped his people into Biafra and started deporting them to concentration camps while his soldiers took over their lands. Now imagine it The only thing that could be compared with it Was the story of King Ahab in the Bible seizing Naboth's vineyard after Naboth had been framed up with lies and murdered It led to the divine retribution and destruction of the House of Ahab |

CSTRR:The highest IQ and yet none of you with the highest IQ has reasoned along with others to know that there’s no going back on the formation of Anioma state. The highest IQ, yet many towns and villages are suffering huge deprivations? I do not understand where your “silly mistakes” are coming from in view of the reality of Anioma state coming up in 2026. As earlier stated, be ready to be called Onye Igbo in 2026, otherwise you can change your face with Ibadan tribal marks. We kuku dash you to Ibadan people. |

AlphaTaikun:When Kings and members of the state and National Assembly have agreed and supported the creation of the state, how do you and those who went to court intend to stop it? Majority have their way, minority have their say, as it is said. Majority already have their way here. Sorry bro, we are waiting for conclusion of the processes. We are waiting to see if it will be Anim-Oma as agreed by NASS members from across the bridge, to include Ihiala, with Asaba as the state capital. Either of the two names that finally flies, Delta north will be carved out of Delta state. Finally the Urhobos, Itsekiris, Isokos and Ijaws can have their Warri as their state capital, and their long sought freedom from the Igbos and their peace of mind. You see what’s going on in the areas cited, including the National Assembly and you take them “random”? Do you understand that word at all? |

Readinglamp:There is nothing special Aniomas will add to mainstream lgbos that we don't already have. Just the spirit of Inclusivity. Mine you the Aniomas are divided on the issue, your opinion is not everybody's opinion. Just like the ones protesting |

Ezeama400:Disaster waiting to happen. Anioma people no send core igbos o. My wife's mother na from Ababa, while her dad from Imo. She goes to Asaba often. The Anioma people have always been politically grouped with other tribes of the South South, like the Binis, Itsekiris, Urhobos, Ijaws, and even with the Yorubas in Western Nigeria, since colonial times. Breaking that political and brotherly love would be difficult. Lumping Anioma people with core igbos by force would cause a lot of suspicion and instability in the region. It's like carving Ikwerre people out of Rivers State and lumping them with the igbos. Disaster waiting to happen. |

Wickedtruths:There are more Igbo communities in Kogi state than Igala communities in both Anambra and Enugu states. Of course, you don't know this and would be very unhappy to confirm that it is true. Another fact is that those Igala communities in Anambra will prefer to remain were they are than relocated to a state of total obscurity. To be associated with the Great Igbos is a privilege. |

wirinet:What business does a Yoruba person have with an Agbor or Ogwashi Ukwu man? What business does an Oyo man have with an Ondo man before the British came to Nigeria? They never had a single contact but because of language, both are considered parts of one ethnic group. The same is applicable to some parts of Anioma. Most parts of Anioma were intermarrying and even founding communities across both sides of the Niger. You should learn to write confidently in only what you know very well. |

CSTRR:will you keep quiet...they are igbos....you called the coup led by their son Nzogwu igbo coup and south east is still suffering till today.... You killed their fathers and able bodied men in what is known as asaba massacre..just because they are igbos And you still went ahead to separate them from their brothers..... Well... balkanization of the igbos by the wicked federal government will finally turn to a blessing to the igbos ...just time. My brothers you can belong in any region be it south south or north central...but know it that your root is igbo no matter the hatred planted by fg on igbos....we are one people God bless every true igbo sons and daughters |

adeniyi65:Why didn't the same River Niger make a boundary between Nupes in Niger and Kwara state? Why didn't the Benue River make a boundary between the Tivs who occupy both sides of the River? Is it only when it involves Igbos that rules change against them? |
