Anyone that mentions importation of finished product from crude oil is an enemy of Nigeria. We should still go back to importation of substandard petrol because some adult children can't compete by building their own refinery? Because you don't want to do that you call it monopoly.

But you dull sha! Did Dangote stop him from issuing licenses? The people that were issued licences are they not the ones weeping profusely anytime Dangote reduces the price of petrol? Dangote can only practice monopoly against owners of refineries not corrupt marketers.
Do you even know what monopoly means? Dangote and those marketers are not doing the same thing, while he refines petroleum products, they buy and sell like the tomato and onion seller in the market, I mean anyone with the right backing can do what they do.

I am not a fan of Dangote but this is just a very shitty move even for him.

Publishing names of kids and their location when their father is a PEP (politically exposed person) I hope Farouq’s children never forgive this.

Was there no other way for Dangote to make his point.

As much as we have also have questions of corruption dangling over Farouq, I have warned about Dangote severally years ago when this refinery was announced. Dangote will never have your best interest at heart

If Dangote see the entire over 250 million population of Nigeria as a stumbling block, he would rather steam roll over them than lose his money. This is who Dangote is. I am absolutely not in support of him having any form of monopoly in the oil and gas sector.

It's deeper than that..For someone like Dangote who has been known to shy away from Public comments to all of a sudden start talking is because there is indeed a cabal hell bent on destroying the refinery. Can you remember the public televised comments of someone who said Dangote s refinery created substandard petrol when Dangote has shipped Petrol to America. There is a cabal that wants Dangote out of business. They went for him and he is going for them. And guess what ? He is going to Win, Why ? It's one man versus like 50 men. As for the price gap in other African countries? A quick research trip beyond your feelings would show you the same 'fault lines' I mentioned stable grids and functional rail systems elsewhere make production cheaper.
