A House of Representatives member was reportedly stoned and beaten today in Zamfara State by angry youths over alleged non-performance.

According to reports obtained by GlimpseTV, the incident occurred during Governor Dauda Lawal’s visit to Dansadau. Youths from the Dansadau Emirate in Maru Local Government Area allegedly attacked the PDP lawmaker, accusing him of poor leadership and lack of performance under the current administration.

Despite the presence of armed Nigerian security personnel who were seen attempting to control the situation, the angry youths reportedly overpowered them and carried out the attack. Eyewitnesses said a crowd of youths surrounded the lawmaker, chanting loudly as they pelted him with stones during the confrontation.

Perhaps, let all state start replicating same to all elected politicians when they failed in their duties instead of attempting or suggesting coup

Really some lawmakers are actually like Governors in terms of Projects.

The people above me should stop liking it to political parties, it's a Nigeria problem we have the worst set of leaders in the world 🌎🌎🌎, stonening them is bad, voting them out of office is the right thing to do, but when they rig themselves back to the same office I think the only option left is what the masses in Zamfara did. Most of them are now in APC...so it's not just about political parties but the Nigerian system that enables and rewards criminals.
