The point about civilians dying in a war is the one that shouldn't be justified because they have no say. When they pick up arms and join the army, it becomes a different story and the killing is justifiable.

On the other hand, anything that fuels the Russian war and oils or continues it is justifiable. Looking at Russian autocracy and it's style of leadership, Russian Oligarch billionaires in one way or the other are contributing to that war, so, their assets are legally justifiable to be seized. You can't make money from English football and go use it to kill Ukrainians (I am not saying Abramovich is directly killing Ukrainians but with the Russian system of government, there is no way he can avoid not contributing to that war).

And lastly, Russian citizens are all over the world and nobody is killing them because of a war they are fighting with Ukraine. So, that makes the comparison with killing Jews because they are fighting in Gaza untenable.
