first of, whether small or not you do not violate the airspace of another nation, what if bigger nations start violating the airspace of Nigeria will you be comfortable with that? Secondly modern warfare does not depend on size. Thirdly since Nigeria does not directly border Burkina Faso how will the Nigerian army mobilize men and materials to Burkina Faso? Troare is the head of a sovereign country no matter how small the country is, he would be accorded the full respect as head of state.

What if it was a 21 Yr old that was a President, would an army general refuse to salute him cos he is too young?

I'm sure that Nigeria Air force officer will not salute any of their army officers who is not the president except when saluted first.

What source did you get the information that they were ckeared to enter Burkina Faso airspace? Because, if they truly did, I don't think, they will still be there as it will be against international aviation law and their government will be taking it abit too far. It seems like we misunderstood each other.

The plane was on route to Portugal... a military aircraft. We should first ask why is our military aircraft on route to Portugal? ...for what purpose? It developed technical difficulties and had to make an emergency landing ... in Burkina Faso ...but we should first find out if Burkina Faso is on the flight path to Portugal. If it is not .. immediate red flag... how is this possible? To date...after this press release ...after hearing from the high powered delegation ... has anything changed? Have the soldiers been released? ....did Traoré agree to release them? ....or the plane? ... Is the technical problem fixed? ... by whom? What has this high powered delegation achieved?
