Because Oba won the championship in January this year then went on a long dominant run with it. J'evon may have more matches on main roster /Triple A but title accomplishments are null.

Triple H has a habit of cooling his wrestlers while they're champs.
Stephanie was wrestling frequently, at times three matches a week but the moment she's champ na once in a while. They did same to Iyo Sky when she had the belt.
The focus of the Women's division is now RHIYO vs Kabuki warriors while Stephanie is relegated to fueding with Raquel and Nikki Bella .

Language barrier hinders her promo as they insist it must be English.
The backstage promo she had on twitter conveyed more emotion and confidence in Spanish than her english promo.

I knew MJF was returning soon. I saw news that the winner of Dynamite Diamond Ring is getting a title shot (a stipulation never associated with the ring) and I knew he was pulling strings. Why the guy gets first off, to always win the DDR is beyond me, now they'll be giving him a title shot he doesn't deserve while he already has a contract that secures him a title shot. Man, AEW.
