MEGAWATCH:
I've been asking God to grant Tinubu's supporters the power and grace to forgive Peter Obi and the Obedient people.

Since Peter Obi gave Tinubu and his supporters bloody nose in Lagos during last election, they have sworn never to forgive them.

May God continue to encourage them to forgive because we can never build a strong country with bitterness.

I wouldn't be surprised if next week another high powered delegation is sent to have the plane and men released again.

Which mission are they going to execute in Portugal. Just asking
I will assume you don’t know

The simple answer is the C-130 cargo aircraft is on routine ferry mission to Portugal for scheduled maintenance.

Try use google before you ask if we can’t do it in Naija, the answer is simple, we don’t have facilities for maintenance of such plane and certified personnel, I know you will like to do some comparison, before then let me tell you say na only 10-15 countries can do such maintenance in the world, u may need to use google to check “ C-130 heavy maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO)” countries that have facilities to do the task.

Wait before you mix it up Egypt and Southy can do full C-130 heavy maintenance (MRO) too, their facilities is not as big as the one in Portugal and they do the maintenance base on the bilateral agreement

You can't be winning with bitterness my dear, if they are winning, what Peter Obi and his supporters will be doing will mean nothing to them but Tinubu supporters both those in government and those here are still very very bitter attacking Peter Obi as if they are the people in opposition parties.

What kind of winning and angry is that?

Only now is it clear what the whole issue was about. And they couldn't simply explain this to the Nigerian public or the Burkinabe Civil Aviation Authority ahead of the mission.

Very poor organisation.

I know you don't expect any of us here to have the answer so I would suggest you write to the Defence HQ in Abuja. They would be best placed to respond. Or better still, see if you can find Tinubu's number and send him a text message for a speedy response. Please share with us when you obtain this information.

Don't be ridiculous dude!. there's nothing "tribal" in his post, its banter to Obi supporters which cut across states. You're the one "tribal" here.

I'm told my state Edo had some of the most Obi supporters during the elections, and we're not from Obi's tribe.

Stop seeing everything from tribal lens ok!

Funkyswagzz:
You guys have successfully made this a tribal issue it's a shame you want a better yet you are unapologetically tribalistic

Lol i supposed you didn't follow the news from onset. The NAF has stated from day 1 the crew were on thier way to Portugal.

Either you're ignorant or mischievous!. Your last paragraph very immature of you.

hatchy:
This is just to save face.
The crew haven't said what and where they were going to before those mad people stopped and arrested a whole Nigerian military craft.

Anyway they will just go to one local airport in Portugal and land, stay for few days and make U Turn and return, then we clap for them.
Re: Nigerian Air Force C-130 Crew Continues Mission From Burkina Faso To Portugal by wowcatty: 9:43pm On Dec 18, 2025
I thought they said the Portuguese confirmed the plane wasn’t scheduled to be over there.

President Tinubu, you’re a war time president, do your part in dividing this country. Nigeria is in civil war and the plane was taken to Bukinafaso on purpose for a cheap point and a leverage for Sahel. Everything was organized from Nigeria. The pilots should be court martial and others interviewed well.
