Good day o, make una come help me o. My 07 es 350 Lexus I have been driving since 2020.

So the issue started last month when I was coming back and I noticed a sound coming from underneath the steering and I packed called in mech only to discover radiator water is gone and no water at all in the engine. He topped water and I took it home and the following morning I discovered radiator have leakages in the core like 3 places got a new radiator and put in everything got back to normal.

So after like 3 weeks I noticed new radiator cores started leaking again like something punctured it. So yesterday I went to Ladipo and got a Tok radiator double cell like what I had before, after installing it today, poured coolant HOltz, bled it only to discover the reservoir tank is kind bubbling because air is been returned inside there.

NOTE: this happened after the car was on for 10 mins or so with the AC on, I just had to shut the Werey down. Mech said it is the thermostat, he wants to loosen it I refused o. I said it might be the rad cap or the radiator and also my car is sluggish now .

E be like my gasket don travel ni. Guys help out

Good evening all, please I'd really appreciate it if a knowledgeable automechanic for Lexus GS350 is referred to look into an issue for me.

My car 08 Lexus GS350 vibrates between 20 - 40km/h when accelerating or decelerating.

I changed the propeller shaft as earlier advised but the issue is still persistent.

My axis is Ikeja - Ojota - Ogudu in Lagos. Thank you

Around 10-20k for "Tokunbo" depending on where you're getting it from/ negotiation skills.

Good evening boss, let’s break this down properly for your GS350.
A vibration specifically between 20–40 km/h even after changing propeller shaft shows the fault is coming from another drivetrain component. Let me explain it clearly so you don’t keep changing parts blindly.

🔍 TECHNICAL BREAKDOWN (DIAGNOSTIC INSIGHT)

1. WHY IT’S STILL VIBRATING AFTER PROP SHAFT CHANGE

On the GS350, vibration at that speed range is commonly caused by:

A. Front or rear engine mount collapse
– The GS platform is sensitive. A weak mount transmits vibration sharply between 20–40 km/h during load and off-load.

B. Inner CV Joint wear (even if boots are fine)
– GS350 inner joints develop micro-play.
– This causes a rhythmic vibration exactly when accelerating and decelerating.

C. Differential mount or carrier bearing wear
– If diff mount is soft or cracked, it gives the same vibration signature as propeller shaft faults.

D. Wheel hub play or unbalanced tires
– Especially if vibration happens on light throttle.

2. WHY PROP SHAFT WASN’T THE FIX

Propeller shaft vibration is usually strongest at 60–80 km/h, not 20–40.
Your symptom range doesn’t match prop shaft behavior — so the real cause was missed initially.

3. HOW TO CONFIRM THE REAL FAULT

You need a proper:
1. Engine mount load test
2. Inner CV joint free-play inspection
3. Diff mount press test
4. Hub/tyre balancing check

One of these four is always the culprit on GS350 with your exact symptom.

⚙️ RYAN AUTOMOTIVE WORKSHOP PROFESSIONAL TAKE

We’ve handled this same GS350 vibration issue multiple times — Ogudu, Ikeja, and even clients from Magodo bring the car for this exact fault.

Every time:
• Propeller shaft was replaced incorrectly
• Vibration remained
• Real cause turned out to be inner CV, engine mount, or diff mount

Our GS/Lexus drivetrain experience is deep — we run a full driveline vibration diagnostic, not trial-and-error part changes.

We are along LASU–Isheri Road, easy access from Ojota → Ogudu → Berger axis.

If you want a proper check without guesswork, you can reach us.

📌 PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

Your GS350 vibration is drivetrain load-related, not prop shaft.
Get a proper diagnosis on the inner CV, mounts, and diff mount before spending more money.
A 20-minute check will reveal the exact cause.

Good afternoon sir,

Thank you for explaining the situation clearly. Based on your description — engine struggling heavily once the A/C is turned on, feeling like a heavy load is applied, and the car hardly exceeding 100 km/h — this is not normal for a Honda Accord 2007, even with a tokunbo A/C compressor.

🔧 Professional Diagnostic Insight

1️⃣ Excessive Compressor Drag (Most Common Cause)
A tokunbo compressor can have internal resistance, partial seizure, or worn bearings. Once the A/C engages, the compressor places an abnormal mechanical load on the engine, causing severe power loss and poor acceleration.

2️⃣ Wrong or Incompatible Compressor Model
Even if the compressor “bolts on,” slight differences in:
• Compressor displacement
• Pulley/clutch design
• Internal load rating
can cause excessive engine drag and reduced top speed.

3️⃣ Overcharged Refrigerant System
Too much gas leads to high head pressure, forcing the compressor to work harder than designed. This will:
• Strain the engine
• Reduce acceleration
• Make the car feel choked under A/C load

4️⃣ Compressor Clutch or Pulley Fault
A tight clutch bearing or misaligned pulley increases resistance, transferring excessive load to the crankshaft when the A/C is switched on.

5️⃣ Engine Load Compensation Issues
If the throttle body is dirty or sensors (MAF/MAP) are not responding correctly, the engine may fail to compensate for A/C load — worsening the symptom.

⚙️ Ryan Automotive Workshop Professional Take

A properly functioning A/C system should not prevent the car from passing 100 km/h. When this happens, it indicates a mechanical or pressure-related fault, not “normal tokunbo behavior.”

Random part changes without proper pressure checks and scanning often lead to repeated failures and unnecessary expenses.

✅ Professional Summary & Next Steps

Your issue is most likely caused by excessive compressor load or incorrect system setup. Proper diagnosis should include:
• Compressor compatibility verification
• High/low pressure testing with gauges
• Clutch and pulley drag inspection
• Correct refrigerant quantity confirmation
• Engine scan to confirm load compensation

Diagnosis must come before replacement — not trial and error.

I have checked today and it’s also well bolted

Picture below

however I found one wire laying around where the honk is, it caught my attention when it sparked on making contact with the iron behind the bumper, I traced it and I realize it came from around same place as the ground wire I checked earlier. I have attached the picture also. That’s the only free wire I was able to fine laying around
For anyone who might come across this. The wire I held in that picture was the culprit that was the ABS cable that wasn’t connected, after over a year of driving with D flashing, ABS light on, VSA light on. I watched up to 15 YouTube videos and I was able to trace the issue to the wire, I found where it was removed and plugged it back then all the warning lights went away immediately
