The problem is that many politicians dismiss issues like these as conspiracy theories or assume they’ll “figure it out” once they get into office. Then they arrive and discover the situation is far more complex than they imagined.

That’s exactly why Tinubu made all those loud promises about fixing electricity within a year only to realize, years into his presidency, that the problem is not as simple as campaign rhetoric makes it sound.

Politicians need to stop saying anything just to win elections. That habit is precisely what is catching up with people like Trump and Tinubu today.

Dave Chappelle, Jimmy Carr, Trevor Noah, Josh Johnson, Michael Che... Even Bill Burr. These are solid observational comedians with philosophical takes who are exceptionally brilliant.
These are the ones I binge-watch on YouTube in picture-in-picture mode all day on PC while working or leisuring.

Nobody who enjoys such comedians would dabble with the simplistic Sabinus and the likes.

People who know and have such exquisite taste in social commentary will laugh at you for saying so.

I guess you won't sit through the 3-hour-per-episode almost bi-weekly Joe Rogan podcasts then, or the two-hour-long Trigonometry podcasts.
