| Re: December Rice Contribution by Love800(m): 8:24pm On Dec 19, 2025 |
I wanna say something. Let me just say dat the contribution is a way of saving your money in return of physical goodies, not really relying on whether it was up to the said amount, atleast its near to the price. Okay. Removing 10k monthly will not really make you see it as a big deal depending on your status sha, okay. And las las, you will just have a package that will surprisingly show up at the end of the year is heart-satisfying, because you remove concerntration from the contribution by being just focusing on your job throughout the year and dodged market hassles. That is the way i just see it. I might be wrong though. |

This food contribution trend is still somehow new so the organisers will want to appear transparent and give value for money. By the time it becomes more popular and more people jump in, that's when those organisers will start scamming Nigerians anyhow, people should shine their eyes o. |

Bentacur007:Where is that bro? |
| Re: December Rice Contribution by dominique(mod): 12:42pm On Dec 20, 2025 |
Ok let's do a rough estimate of the items you got to see if you were cheated or not 1 cartoon of Gino tomatoes (sachet ones) - no idea (let me just put at 10k) 5liter g.oil ≈ 15k 4liter p.oil ≈ 14k 2 packets of salt ≈ 1k (N500 each 1 bama ≈ 3k Knorr Maggi ≈ 2,500 Dish washing liquor (medium sized) ≈ 1500 Dental floss/toothpick ≈ 1k Bag of rice ≈ 60k (most likely less) Total ≈ N105k give or take 10k. I wouldn't exactly say you were cheated but the organisers can do better |

All these contribution schemes are usually fraught with complaints, & exposes you to being cheated. I prefer to enter market & buy whatever the amount I have, can buy. |

dominique:transportation and other logistic. It's easy to calculate online until you enter market youtselt |
| Re: December Rice Contribution by fineboynl(m): 12:54pm On Dec 20, 2025 |
Women will always think they cheat you until they go to market themselves and buy worst. It alway feel like that when I pick food items of 40k-50k each time I reach house I I always ask myself the same question. The money is big for eye. But what it can buy will just small for eye. Until you calculate them again. That rice look like the original one. From jumia it's big bill is between 70k-75k and from review people still complain it's local rice and stones |
| Re: December Rice Contribution by Ebenezer2021(m): 12:55pm On Dec 20, 2025 |
