The record for Borno and Benue states are misleading...


Benue actually has 5 that is with inclusion of one private university which is not indicated there.

Borno also have at least 4 UNIVERSITIES Federal universities should be two if you include the Army university

Boko is truly Haram in the North

Northern Nigeria shouldn't be having conventional universities. They should have universities that focus on agriculture. The problem of our universities is that they aren't built to solve local problems. That's why places like Katsina have a maritime university

Education is Haram over there. So it's not a surprise.

But how many Universities dey other states even Lagos?

The Lagos State government has said the ratio of public to private schools at both primary and secondary school levels in the state is one to 22.

The state’s Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, gave the revelation in her remark at the 2022 edition of the Total School Support Seminar Exhibition (TOSSE) held at Oregun in Ikeja between Thursday and Friday.

How many teachers are being employed by your own governors EACH year since 1999 to ensure that every single child is in free school, helped with matching federal funds through UBEC that was established 26 years ago by PDP’s Obasanjo and Atiku

I don't think this data is right.
Because I know NKST university Mka is a private university.
I don't know about other states tho......

That said.
I don't think the number of institutions should actually be our focus.
The quality should be the issue.
We had better baked graduates when we had lesser number of universities in the country.
Now we have graduates who can't even put together a CV or write an employment application letter.

When you have sat in an interview with these graduates you would be surprised that people talk about unemployment, because the truth is that the youths are unemployable.....

It's heartbreaking to see today that SSCE holders 20years ago are better educated than university graduates today.
