Throughout the New Testament, Jesus (especially) in his last three years before his death left his family and was preaching around with some disciples! It is clear Jesus told his disciples that he will suffer, be arrested, crucified and be killed! It is clear that Jesus told his disciples that he will rise up from the dead! Cleopas said: but we had hoped that he (Jesus) was the one who was going to redeem Israel. And what is more, it is the third day since all this took place. Luke 24:21 Why would Cleopas say the above about Jesus if he truly did tell them he was gonna die for their sins? Note that Cleopas was a figure in early Christianity, known primarily as one of the two disciples who encountered the resurrected Jesus on the road to Emmaus, as described in the Gospel of Luke (Luke 24:13-35). He was a follower of Jesus during His earthly ministry and among the few who saw the Lord on the day of His resurrection. Early Church tradition also identifies Cleopas (sometimes spelled Clopas) as possibly the brother of Joseph, the legal father of Jesus, and the father of Simon/Simeon. |

You can never ever understand salvation if it is not revealed to you by God. You can never find what you don't seek It is not for ordinary people to understand with their ordinary corrupt minds It is all divine understanding One that can never be found in ordinary words 9. "My prayer is not for the world, but for those you have given me, because they belong to you. 10. All who are mine belong to you, and you have given them to me , so they bring me glory. (John 17: 9-10) |

Antichristian2:You are really lost Even Believers of Christ God's own children still seek daily with the assurance of the promise of Finding as we seek How much more a person who has positioned himself ignorantly to stand against Christ You even try to dictate things about Christ that you know nothing about to his Children You are telling people about their Father that you know no single thing about. It's funny. Well Your case is like that of Peter But I have prayed for you That when you fall, you will find your stance back in understanding and out of Ignorance by God's mercy in Jesus Name. |

The more you look, the lesser you see 😁. The Bible wasn’t originally written in English, so don’t try to always interpret it in English to not get yourself confused. |

Whatever Jesus told his disciples about his mission never sank into their hearts until after his resurrection that's why they can't continue the work he gave them until after they were baptized with holy spirit {Act 1:8} that's when God's holy spirit started to remind them all the things Jesus taught and they accurately understood. John 16:12-13 |

Antichristian2:1. You should try to at least do a better job of reading the book of books before you go around thinking you can squabble with your fellow religionists by way of what is written in it. 🥱🥱🥱 What do you understand by what Cleopa said there of him thinking Jesus Christ of Israel was the one sent to redeem Israel? The answer is found broken down for you in the Gospels so, take your time before responding. 🥱🥱🥱 2. So, uou are aware then that Jesus Christ had at least 72 other disciples whom He had sent out to preach to the people(likely a group after the first 12) and this Cleopas was one of his disciples, a witness from his ascension? And the number of the disciples who gathered in the room waiting in Jerusalem as per Jesus Christ of Israel's last commands was about 120 disciples total gathered in the upper room? 🥱🥱🥱 That is 120 witnesses to Jesus Christ of Israel who also heard his teachings -- he taught many of them for 40 days after his resurrection -- and probably all came together to record much of them down for all others after them to learn from. 🥱🥱 |

Kobojunkie:I like it when you "japoro" like this! Can you name the 72 disciples or the 120 disciples here? They don't exist! |

Antichristian2:Huh? ![]() ** Though the same books explain that that Jesus Christ of Israel sent out 72 other disciples in the fashion that He sent out the first 12, you wish to insist that the 72 did not exist because their names were not included in the text? Why? 🥱🥱🥱 ** Though the writer of Acts indicated that after Jesus Christ of Israel has spent 40 days with the other batch of disciples -- the 11 excluded, according to Matthew -- and then ascended, there were about 120 disciples in total who waited in the upper room when tongues of fire descend on them. But you don't believe these works because the names of all 12 were not included in the records? 🤔🤔 So, any character mentioned in the books whose name of was not specified never existed? Is this some sort of childish prank or what?!🥱🥱 |

Kobojunkie:Who are the 72? I think they are abstract. ** Though the writer of Acts indicated that after Jesus Christ of Israel has spent 40 days with the other batch of disciples -- the 11 excluded, according to Matthew -- and then ascended, there were about 120 disciples in total who waited in the upper room when tongues of fire descend on them. But you don't believe these works because the names of all 12 were not included in the records? 🤔🤔Jesus told them to meet him Galilee but met some in Jerusalem or what exactly are you insinuating? |

Antichristian2:To further pull down your claim that the accounts in Matthew ran counter with that Luke and Acts, we have John 21 specially putting Jesus Christ of Israel in Galilee as the place where He met up and made breakfast with His disciples just before His ascension. 🥱🥱 Here, we have a story coming together through the accounts of all of the writers of the Gospels, not this pick-and-choose approach that religion is notorious for. 🥱🥱🥱 |

Kobojunkie:I don't know why you can't even speak clearly! Are you speaking in parables or tongues? Where did the disciples first met Jesus? Galilee or Jerusalem? |
