Nigerian rapper Jesse Jagz is at the center of a social media firestorm following a bizarre appearance at the Road House in Jalingo. Fans who gathered to see the "Emperor" perform were left stunned when the rapper spent his entire stage time smoking, without uttering a single lyric into the microphone.

Video footage from the event shows Jagz pacing the stage in jeans and sunglasses, casually puffing on a blunt while his hit tracks played over the speakers. At some point, the Jos-born rapper was given a chair on stage where he sat and continued smoking without uttering any lyrics. Davido did not take the critique lightly, firing back with a personal attack:
