We will turn the tide of our income with the man in charge, i am positive of that. Even if he fails to plug leakages, that is easier work for another administration to handle, by the way that leakage block is a work in progress. Nigerians are a reflection of the leaders and are the ones creating leakages in connivance with elected politicians. Check the ministries budgets presented by various ministries, and the elected representatives to oversee budget presented..
Please don't make me laugh.

Government is not cutting spending, is. Lt fighting corruption and tax income is still poor, and we are not ready to remove subsidies on power.

Anyway..

Yes, borrow !

Make sure you increase the revenue as well, possibly in a geometric progression !

Only fools will not borrow.

Lazy thinkers focus on status quo and afraid to borrow, because they can't think of increasing income. Nigeria will drastically increase its revenue with the man in charge. The worst leaders are status quo leaders.
U are funny
What are they borrowing for?
To embezzle it ?
Is the borrowing increasing or reducing?

Yes, in Norway, u can see the benefit of anything govt does, from electricity to water, to amazing good roads even down to local govt, quality health care, amazing and hifh quality public schools. Superior security, high paying jobs, the list goes on. They are called social packages. Countries with good leaders see them and citizens are happy. Here, they loot the money and u want us to clap for them.

Anyway..
Subsidy on power will be completely removed eventually. There is a reason bands were created to gradually phase out power subsidy. I have learnt over the years the difference between theory and practical governance. It is easy to postulate, the devil is in the details. Nigerians are groaning, and the feeding bottle has to be removed gradually especially after the almost immediate removal of fuel subsidy(i said almost immediate removal, because many do not realise that was not immediately removed as well)

I see you writing production like it is a on/off switch or binary 0/1, and i laugh. Government have no business creating industries , it will only stimulate and provide enabling environment. This government is the closest to turning the tide, It is getting it right on the Macro level, but yet to adequately improve the micro economy. It's failure at the micro level is not because it is failing to do a lot of right things , but progress takes time in a challenging environment like Nigeria. I see more stability ahead with the currency, and a drop in inflation rate Hopefully interest rates also starts to drop as it is currently high.

i don't blame Nigerians for not seeing the progress, because it is yet to trickle adequately to the micro level. Will it in the long run? Yes, if the pace is maintained. The steps taken so far are painful and politicians on all strata refuse to make corresponding adjustment in their way of life. The next set of thieves some are canvassing of for will not make adjustment as well. I repeat Nigerians are a reflection of their leaders.

Can you see the level of resistance with the tax reforms? The first 800,000 naira per annum will be tax exempt, that is an advantage for the poor, it will impact everyone too. so if you earn 2,million per annum, you only pay tax on 1.2,million instead of 2 million. At the end, the tax reform will deliver relief to the poor and increased revenue to the government. It will also favor subnational governments that are production centric.
There is a reason why we are now 47 billion usd in reserves, a 7 year high .

And where is all this money going.
To things that will generate 54 trillion and more for interest payments or on big, fat white elephants that will eat a kings ransome and leave you with a huge pile of steamy dung.

Tinubu and his cronies are thieves

We’re saving money from fuel subsidy and Naira devaluation. Instead of using that other than to borrow, he’s stealing it through inflated coastal road projects, subsidies to electricity discos (a wholly government owned infrastructure of Kainji dam and transmission was in place with no major new investments from discos owners, yet Nigerians are paying heavily for subsidies)

Who has stolen billions saved when it was thier time to die? None

It is appointed unto man once to die and after that its judgement

Nelson Paebi keep as open mind

Zik is ijo, but it isn't most of us faults that we don't know this fact, the blame is on Nigerian faulty history... Same way most of us mistake Muritala Mohammed to be an hausa man when in real fact the former head of state was from Auchi in Edo state.
Zik's ijo father from AGBERE community in bayelsa state didn't marry his mother after pregnanting her. In igbo culture, if a man doesn't pay bride price, the child belongs to the mothers people. (Fact) even prominent ibos know this fact as played out during the biafran war when zik had a clash of view with biafran head of state Ojukwu .zik asked for the end of the war (one Nigeria) ojukwu was infuriated by this and responded that he didn't blame zik since no ibo true blood will say this, its only because zik was a bast*rd.
LONG TALK CUT SHORT. IF YOU STILL DOUBT. GO TO AGBERE COMMUNITY UNDER SAGBAMA , YOU WILL SEE WHERE ZIK'S FATHER WAS BURIED. YOU WILL STILL SEE ZIK ORIGINAL FAMILY HOUSE AND SOME OF HIS ORIGINAL RELATIVES.
Here on this Ijaw platform, we only post factual historical updates.
Thank you

If only they can recover all the mlmey stolen by the apc stalwarts, they'd not need to borrow again, the 5m usd looted by that sokoto man recently exposed by dangote and co,those looted by the nnpc officials during Buhari's administration and the one looted by malami, together with the momey used by seyi tinubu to buy millions of poundshouses in the UK, can make up that money they want to borrow in 3 years.
