Says Northerners will re-ward Tinubu in 2027 for ensuring Buhari became president.

A former chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, Abdul’aziz Yari, says the Northerners will vote for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027. Mr Yari made the assertion at his installation ceremony as Obaloyin of Yorubaland by the Alaafin of Oyo, Obaloyin Akeem Owoade, on Sunday.

According to Mr Yari, the president was instrumental in Muhammadu Buhari’s electoral victory.

“President Tinubu fulfilled his promise to former President Buhari. Some of us know that without President Tinubu’s plans, financial and other support, the North’s dream of ruling through Buhari couldn't have materialised.

If there's anything I've learnt about the North, it's that they want to eat their cake and have it all the time. They know how Tinubu repackaged their Buhari and gave to Nigeria and they saw how he ran his presidency with little influence from Tinubu, but when it got to their time to support Tinubu, he still had to use a Northern Muslim, otherwise no vote for him...

I hope Southerners can learn from this. I am not sorry for Tinubu though, APC & PDP I feel no pity for them at all, they've done too bad by the people of this country, that goes for all their previous politicians including Obadanjo, Buhari, Tinubu, Atiku and Peter Obi.

We should continue to suffer maladministration and poverty.

This is what they understand by governance. It is a place of ethnic rewards. It's a pity having these sets of persons in governance. Nigeria, you shall be set free sooner than later.

I'm sure Northerners won't vote Tinubu because he brought hunger and hardship to their doorstep. Northerners, don't listen to any fool saying it's time to reward Tinubu, remember the hunger and hardship you've endured so far. It's time for you all to be free...

Neither should Tinubu forget that it was the north that helped him tremendously to become the president . If not for the northern support Tinubu would have lost woefully and shamefully , he lost Osun and even his home state Lagos where he was governor for 8 years
