You see it depends on who is asking and who is being asked. First of all, you must understand that I am a completely honest individual. I don't wake and start insulting anyone talk less of insulting the president but I'm free to speak my mind. I am not party affiliated. Despite the fact that Tinubu lost the last election and was rigged in by INEC, lol it might surprise you but i admire his tenacity and ruggedness. Its not easy to eat your cake and have it, but what he did was totally wrong and if i ever become president, INEC chairman, not Tinubu will be put on trial and jailed for life and the $200m bribe he took must be produced or else he will serve jail with hard labor, we will use him till the end. However, will I rate Tinubu as a good President? Despite everything that people say about the man, I admire him for his fearlessness and calculatedness but ultimately what I admire most in men is their intelligence. Tinubu is intelligent. So why is he not translating his intelligence to better the life of Nigerians? To change the life of Nigerians is a piece of cake, very very easy. Even me, an insignificant spec in the Nigerian project can effect massive change in just 6 months. But sometimes, as a man of wisdom you have to ask; WHY didn't Obasanjo, Yar'Adua, GEJ, Buhari and Now Tinubu... these are great men with high intelligence and experience. They know the history of Nigeria more than me, why haven't they done the right things and infact, in some instances they intentionally sabotage the efforts of the people. Like when OBJ sabotaged the then efforts of a certain governor from the SE when the governor tried to ensure 247 electricity for his state. What is actually going on? As it stands today, Tinubu can end homeless and hunger in Nigeria, ensure that everyone can eat 3 times daily because when you are fed, you are calm and more thoughtful and calculative. What is stopping Tinubu from archiving this? Recently, H.E John Mahama gave 500GHC to every Ghanaian tertiary student, free education and so on... why can't Tinubu do the same? Professionals like Military, Police, Teachers and Doctors should have an entry-level salary of 300k/Month, why not? Then you realize that the more you look , the less you see. Something evil is going on in ASO ROCK. It is not the Leaders. There is an evil hand that delights in Sorrow ,Tears and Blood of Nigerians. |

Tinubu cannot achieve those poverty alleviation fits you mentioned because he's a corrupt politician. He believes it grab it and run with it politics for himself and especially his cronies. He believes in egunje so much. If not because he's afraid of a backlash that could break up Nigeria.. his cash cow, I swear he will award every contract and appointment to his Yoruba people. He is fighting terrorism with politics because he doesn't care if those involved self destruct. The little effort he is making now is because the terror is inadvertently coming down to his neck of the woods. He is a tribalist of unprecedented proportion! |

SisterAnn:It's hard to believe that people think like that. Imagine becoming president, being in control of all resources and all you choose to do is STEAL everything. I can't process that. |

I called my mother in Nigeria that lives in Onitsha, she told the price of bag of rice has come down to 27k, if the price of food products will come down, I will support Tinubu in 2027 as an Igbo man, Nigerians are hungry!! |

melechpilusof:Corruption is endemic and institutionalized in Nigeria. Is he alone in the game? Hello No! But his style of stealing is diabolic. Any day, a different party or someone not ready to be his stooge would assume power as Lagos governor, what would be uncovered... eyes have not seen, neither have ears heard of such. |

Lonestar124:I bought half bag of rice for 34k last week. Not bad. They are in categories. The government flooded the market with imported rice. |

Well to some extent yes. At least he’s a little bold. But then no politician is good and no one in governance good will ever be enough. |

Most transformative head of state since Nigeria's independence 65 years ago. The famous words - 'Subsidy is gone'. And so, it went. Record non-oil export. Record balance payment Record Stock Exchange valuation Stabilised naira Incredibly successful student loan scheme Unprecedented tax reform Credible and independent Central Bank Local gov't revenue autonomy State police Audacious coastal road Sokoto-badagry super highway. And so many more. |

DeLaRue:Are you still talking about Nigeria or another country? |

Short and concise answer: No. |
| Re: Is Tinubu A Good President? by DeLaRue: 8:58pm On Dec 22, 2025 |
SisterAnn:Nigeria actually. I notice you didn't dispute any of the achievements I outlined. You may support someone else, but surely you must admit in your private moments that if every Nigerian President since independence had achieved as much as this man has done in two and a half years, Nigeria would be a lot better that it is today. |

DeLaRue:The only real and truthful comment I've read on this thread! All these he has achieved in about two years of governance. Trust me, it takes boldness and a bit of ruthlessness to achieve this but at the end we will all be better for it. Every reform comes with some sacrifices because some people must pay the price for it. People talked about subsidy removal but look at the achievement from the removal of subsidy! Two legacy projects: Lagos - Calabar coastal highway and Sokoto - Badagry highway! Some people even claimed the coastal highway is useless and unnecessary but when it wasn't opened on time, they started grumbling! (That's people for you). Also, some students dream of going to school would have been dashed but for Student education loan! Talk of record non-oil export, a lot of people are smiling to the bank but will not come out to tell you the government is good. In addition, for the first time, we're celebrating Christmas with cheaper food and cheaper fuel, something that has never happened before. Abeg, anyone who says Tinubu is not a good president should bring the scorecard of his predecessors and let's check something. Tell me that a bag of rice today is 50k but he met it at 40k and I would tell you that minimum wage was 30k and some states were even struggling to pay but today it is 70k and some of those states struggling to pay 30k are even paying 100k an above. |

SisterAnn:Brother Ann, If the present governor or past governors of your state were any better, or half the man as Jagaban Borgu, u definitely wouldn’t be here complaining of who has the might to alleviate u from poverty. Charity they say begins @ home. |

Christistruth00:100% Correct, Even Trump is aware, hence he has to come up with this nonsense Christian genocide shenanigans as a reason for exhibiting his supremacist agenda to keep Nigeria down. |
