United states taxation. You go hear am. A lot of people prefer to hide away fortunes stacked in offshore like Cayman's and Swiss Banks. Many people have japaed away from America because of Unfair taxation. Democrats believe there should even be a billionaire tax. Even, you can't securely pass wealth to your estate without the outrageous estate tax of up to 45%. Uncle Sam billing pass 9ja babes own. |

dollytino4real:They work with these taxes The citizens hold their leaders accountable if they mismanage these funds. It in Nigeria, a new Senate president will come, and declare renovation of the Assembly or refurnishing of the legislator’s houses / quarters, and no one will complain or protest or even recall the senator spearheading that |

Still on tax issues.. Meanwhile take this season's gift just seen on nairametrics The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has declared that the National Identification Number issued by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has now automatically become a Tax ID for individual Nigerians. The Service announced this in a public awareness campaign on the new tax laws posted on X on Monday. For registered businesses, the FIRS said their RC number issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) automatically becomes their tax ID under the new tax system. This declaration comes amidst concerns over a provision of the tax laws mandating Tax ID for bank account ownership |

brain54:He was taxed, but he was smart about it. Both of them paid 37% Federal tax because the fight was in Miami. But because AJ is a British resident, he owes the UK an extra $11m+ and another $2.8m for National Insurance. Jake doesn't owe the UK a kobo. So even though they split the money 50/50, Jake ends up richer. AJ is the world champion of paying taxes! Hope ypu understand |

Omalicious1:And a career criminal with possibly the worst corruption credentials like bat is hardly the right person to implement such a tax regime. It is ridiculous to even contemplate such because it assaults the sensibilities of Nigerians, knowing that the crook called bat CERTAINLY has dubious motives. Nigeria has a bigger government accountability problem than it has a revenue problem. So this rush to implement an oyinbo tax system on Nigerians without first giving us oyinbo accountability (never mind oyinbo benefits) shows that the criminal is driven by purely corrupt motives. We will never allow that. |

The amount of ignorance online is simply staggering. People just comment on things they know NOTHING about. In the UK common plumbers and electricians do not work directly, they all work through their own LTD companies, as do ALL self employed people. Do you really think a multi milloniare like AJ signs contracts in his own name? The contract for that fight would be between Jake Paul's company, MVP and Matchroom(AJ's promoters) Matchroom will then have a separate contract with AJ's company, at this point you guys must understand AJ may well have shell companies in places like Panama, Belize..which have very favorable tax arrangements. The UK govt will be lucky to see a dime of that money, by the time it's been funneled across the globe. People like AJ and Eddie Hern, have the best global tax consultants on speed dial! |

Just this weekend, Funke Akindele and co, raked, 100th if millions, no thanks to masses that Troup out to cinemas to watch their films, you think govt shouldn't put in place mechanism to get back part of such money back to the system? |

bunmioguns:They made all that money because of Jake Paul. He was essentially the promoter of the fight. AJ just went there to collect his bag just like Tyson did. JP deserved to make more cos he set up and promoted that fight from scratch. |

24 hours electricity isn't something to hold dear if you're not an industrialist. Out of 24 hours, you would be at work for at least 8, sleep for about 6 or so. Check Nations that generate electricity the most, it is due to industrial capacity not 'i have light at home 247'. Murketeer: |

The UK and the US citizens won't complain because they know their govts are utilising their taxes very well unlike here in nigeria where most of the taxes are likely to end up in the private pockets of corrupt govt officials. |

Bittersweetnig:The citizens allowed it. The same way APC resisted fuel susidy is how we could have resisted this. We are cowards. APC is dealing with us wella. They used the system and crashed it. There is nothing protest cant achieve. Taxing me 25 percent for income I sourced abroad while I still have to sort out electricty and fuel, healthcare, expensive private school, i have to dig bore hole and also buy bottle water, i have to keep fixing my car due to bad road, it is madness, total madness, That is shit stood till now shows how much of st&pid fellows we are. |
