Nigeria has a bigger government accountability problem than it has a revenue problem. So this rush to implement an oyinbo tax system on Nigerians without first giving us oyinbo accountability (never mind oyinbo benefits) shows that the criminal is driven by purely corrupt motives. We will never allow that.

The amount of ignorance online is simply staggering. People just comment on things they know NOTHING about. In the UK common plumbers and electricians do not work directly, they all work through their own LTD companies, as do ALL self employed people. Do you really think a multi milloniare like AJ signs contracts in his own name? The contract for that fight would be between Jake Paul's company, MVP and Matchroom(AJ's promoters) Matchroom will then have a separate contract with AJ's company, at this point you guys must understand AJ may well have shell companies in places like Panama, Belize..which have very favorable tax arrangements. The UK govt will be lucky to see a dime of that money, by the time it's been funneled across the globe. People like AJ and Eddie Hern, have the best global tax consultants on speed dial!

They made all that money because of Jake Paul. He was essentially the promoter of the fight. AJ just went there to collect his bag just like Tyson did. JP deserved to make more cos he set up and promoted that fight from scratch.

24 hours electricity isn't something to hold dear if you're not an industrialist. Out of 24 hours, you would be at work for at least 8, sleep for about 6 or so. Check Nations that generate electricity the most, it is due to industrial capacity not 'i have light at home 247'.

trust me, all of these you mentioned are still cheaper in Nigeria. In the US, Healthcare is througj insurance, no try sick when you no dey work. Even ambulance is not free. Power and water cost can send you back the village. Then the free schools are just as useless.

The citizens allowed it. The same way APC resisted fuel susidy is how we could have resisted this. We are cowards. APC is dealing with us wella. They used the system and crashed it.
