Good Morning All! Please what is the best way to get Starlinks in Lagos right now? I am considering buying from all these resellers that offer Enterprise plans. Is that advisable or is there a better way?

So we should destroy it naa 😂 ,i don't understand the logic behind that. But for educational purposes,will the old kits work if like say na only router spoil and you bought the replacement from local store and fix it ?.

I read on reddit some even repair it and and sell on ebay as far as new account used when signup it will work just fine

My Starlink gen 2 went offline just this evening and has been throwing the error message STARLINK UNPLUGGED OR REBOOTING. Decided to send a message to support and Grok ai decided on its own to send me a new gen 3 kit for free after it tried to communicate with my Starlink gen 2 unit and it couldn’t all in less than a few minutes of chatting with it (Grok ai). Elon musk you do well ooo.

My problem now is how to mount it once the gen 3 unit arrives.

Mine is still showing Not shipped yet.

I used my old Gen2 router as a mesh for few days. It worked well

I disconnect it cos of power consumption. Gen2 and 3 router for band A

I am talking about the FULL OLD KITS not just the router

They canceled and reorder again now it had estimated shipping between 28 December to 4th January snd they also apply 1 month credit for me

Starlink forbids one to give it out. It's there in there terms and conditions. If starlink gives you a new Kit, your account is still on the old Kit. Infact, both can work side by side. I tried it

But it pains me that i am unable to sell my old Gen2 Kit to a willing buyer. I have full Gen2 Kit and ethernet adapter sef, all just lying fallow. That's over 500K worth of cash lying idle

Nope I didn’t contact support. I believe it was because they had units available in store and my unit was shipped from dhl warehouse in Apapa which is just a few minutes drive to my location in surulere.

On this same thread, someone was asking for a format to request for a replacement knowing fully well that there was nothing wrong with his unit.

My question is valid and genuine, I don't support those that lie that their equipment is bad to receive new equipment. Starlink should scrutinize every request for replacement to detect those that are criminally minded.

Woooow! That's a loophole you just revealed. Both the old and the replacement will still work with one single account payment It will surprise me if starlink let's this happen permanently for these replacement cases.

Starlink once sent me a replacement router and I'm still using the old router because i repaired the power problem that spoiled in it before that warranted a replacement. I'm using the new one as Mesh to extend network around house. But routers are different from dish. The dish is where the account is linked and not the router

I read on reddit some were able to do it with zero issue but the kit has to be left unused for some time

But if starlink catch you 100% you will pay for full kit price
