Yeah people are more likely to be mistaken than to have encountered a spacefaring alien. Why would aliens travel millions of km and decide they need to hide but also appear to random people? It doesn't make sense. If an alien has the capacity to travel that distance then it would either be completely obscured from our observation intentionally or it would reveal itself openly. I may also be anthropomorphising but I think logic is universal just like physics.

The expectations of God's people about when God's Kingdom will begin reigning has been a sacred secret for thousands of years so as each event unfold servants of God only need to be patient {Act 1:7} because they aren't perfect they will learn from what is happening and continue explaining to those under their care. Matthew 24:45

Each time the anointed brothers of Christ gets the understanding all we need to do is humbly welcome it as the right time in God's eyes to reveal the sacred secret {Daniel 12:10} but if any of Jesus' disciples tries to be smarter than those taking the lead he or she will loose out because you can never ever find a better performing group of worshipers than the worshipers of the true God.

So God's word warned us to seek humility and righteousness {Zephaniah 2:2-3} because with humility we will see clearly that those leading us are not perfect like Jesus who understands everything having to do with God's will {John 21:17b} and righteousness will help us to focus on the only group that's doing God's will even though they are not perfect humans.
