madridguy:Have you gone to check how much feed is sold currently? Hold your government responsible ,not these guys trying to survive. That space you will be surprised they paid too for it,and you want them to give you the birds for free.. Go do your own poultry, and share it to people for free when it's festive period |

It’s not that people are not getting those things; rather, many people are now into backyard farming. In my area, almost everyone rears chickens for Christmas and New Year. |

madridguy:Can you please let us know how the greediness of these struggling traders is more than what Tinubu has done in Lagos for 26 years of raising the TAX burden on the masses to grow IGR and budget 100 times but failed to increase the number of government workers equally to improve services and utilities likewise? Is this not what he has been doing in Abuja for the last two years of: - $84 billion subsidy savings - increased revenue target met in August while borrowing and taking more loans than PDP ![]() anonimi: |

It's the economy. It's what is responsible for the low sales and patronage. When things pick up we will see great patronage. It's only a season...we will outlive this time by the grace of God. |

XAM4:How did we allow these wicked propagandist liars of APC scam us with their change messiah in 2015 when he was Tinubu's expired soldier in 2011? Why did we let them replace PDP deregulation and privatisation prosperity policies with their almajiri palliative sharing, extreme poverty inducing progreThief policies a decade ago? What works are we all doing to get PDP prosperity politicians back in Aso Rock ![]() thisweekng: |

madridguy:So they should sell lesser than they purchased...do you know how much a bag of feed for birds cost? Why not tell your Oga to improve the economy...why not tell your governors to pay salaries owed... You go just jump into conclusions without reading. |

Over here where i live. Its like that every season. People you normally overrate and underrate get cages. More than half the population have 2 to 3 or more broilers in their backyards they rear for meat. Including tenants, yes tenants keep birds too. As far say they are caged n clean. Landlord aint saying shit To make it all crazy. Gee boiz wey suppose buy chicken sef don buy cage dey rear broilers U'll see gboiz with their mad ass tattoos and lexuses n venzas walk up and say i need 13 broilers with 3bags of feeds. Make i raise dem grow share for family and chop d rest Local govt chairman n his officers including gateman all have birds in their houses. Some get gifted birds during festive Christmas, sallah and Jan 1. Na few go buy when festive come. Happens every freaking year in and out. Somewhere in Osun state |

madridguy:No be so last year i raise like 8 Broiler and 4 local Turkey for like 10 month average spending on feed on all them per month is around 50k naira just for 2 bags of feed.. Though it for personal use... End up spending much on feeding them alone... Now compare to commercial raising of chicken now with the price of feeds high now The only thing that can bring the price down is the feed... Around 2018 and co.. A bag of 25kg finisher is around 4k naira fast forward to today you will buy the same as high as 27k |

The truth is that, majority has resorted to rear their birds themselves (me included) I told someone that what happened last year with food stuff and chicken will not happen this year and here we are. 8 out of 10 persons are now into farming and poultry |

nairalanda1:Na so. Let me see how much they will raise from taxing an impoverished people. Or are people not the ones you folks are targeting to tax. Are robots going to pay or foreigners? The revenues you have collected via inflation, the savings you have made via subsidies you have withdrawn over the last two years. YOU HAVE WASTED IT ALL. Instead of using the first fruits of reforms to feed the goose that lays the golden egg, you waste it all on elitist projects that have zero, zero economic impact. That neither create jobs or establish businesses enmasse. Now the chickens have returned to roost. You want to reap from where you have not sowed, but rather ravaged. Let me see how much tax you folks will be able to raise. |
