They are all good... They all try and bring their own flair to such a role. Sort of like their own trade marks. If I was to choose one, then I would pick Pete edochie. He has the natural charisma and a royal look about him that just makes the role convincing. Pete can sit on the throne and not even speak/ say a word and his presence alone would be convincingly outstanding. Two or 3 on that list are late (I'm not sure about the third) But rest in peace to justice esiri and enebeli. These people came, saw and conquered and their legacies live on! 88 Likes 5 Shares |

This thing you Nollywood lovers do, is what kills our industry and puts us second best to Hollywood and Bollywood, Stereotyping. Knowing the role an actor is about to play just from seeing his name on the cast. It steals the suspense and robs viewers the thrill. NoahHadNoArk:I don't see the issue here, even in Hollywood, certain actors and actresses are known for peculiar types of roles. Van Damme, Jason Statham, Tom Hardy, Liam Neesonetc are known for action roles. Same applies across.other genres 51 Likes 1 Share |

It's depends on the kind of king you want. What I see are actors good only for specific king roles.. Local king, modern king, wicked king, oracle infested king, wise king and a dull king about to be poisoned by his wife so that her son who is not the crown prince will be king. The story line is the same and predictable depending on the actor 4 Likes |

For the role of Kings, I think Pete Edochie and Olu Jacobs in no particular order. I especially like Grandpa Olu Jacobs' raucous commanding voice. Then, there's no Nollywood actor I respect more than late Justus Esiri, Dr Sid's dad. That man can act any role convincingly. Till tomorrow, nobody can take his roles in Nollywood, he's got no replacement. He was an enigma while he lived. Go and Google his many movies, you'll have an idea what I'm talking about, especially Wasted Years and Forever. His death was sooooooo painful. Rest in peace great thespian. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

It all depends on d type of King they want to act as. To act as Olu of ife is different from acting as Onisapa of Isapa and its different feom acting as Magaji of Budo awuro |

PETE EDOCHIE has no equal Even the Olu Jacobs some Yoruba people are struggling to attach to the level of Pete is many miles below Pete and doesn't even come close. ( Most Yorubas are mentioning him because he is Yoruba, if Pete is Yoruba and Olu is Igbo, Yorubas would told you Pete is totally on a league of his own) Pete is actually the king of nollywood...
