Just travelled a week ago with family. All duals dropped their foreign passports if you want to avoid unnecessary delays.

On local flight , Airport official don't ask for passport, what they need for identification is an ID card, like driver license, voter card or any other government related ID card, you can share your passport as well if you have, but if you share an international passport, you must have a valid visa on it to be in Nigeria otherwise they can take you on that you are in Nigeria illegally. i guess she wanted to show off with her international passport, Airport official has right to ask her for her Nigeria passport otherwise they should hand her over to immigration.

Having said that,it's the duty of immigration officers to check the passports of passengers and not airport staff

yes, foreigners don't move anyhow, they are usually given a stamp of entry and out of any town or city by the immigration.

In this case,if she's an American citizen as was carrying an American international passport,then she should show his card showing approval of entry in and out of warri

The bone of contention here is that the immigrations should be the ones checking her traveling documents and not the airport staff.

There's no law in Nigeria that prevents any citizen from holding or traveling with a foreign passport both within or outside Nigeria...BTW, what does holding a Nigerian passport got to do with traveling to Warri? Even if she's a foreigner, are they banning foreigners from entering Warri?

She must be an illiterate. This is common knowledge nah. You can't be classified as a Nigerian national if you are holding a foreign passport. She probably just wants to show off but doing it under the guise of getting angry with airport officials

Start by asking yourself what are the documents required to fly in a local airline in Nigeria. Una go just open mouth waaaaa...so many places to get information on your smartphone but laziness will not allow you educate yourself.

Does it even make sense that a foreigner will not be allowed to fly into any state in Nigeria without the Nigerian government passport or Driver's License or NIN?
