Universities are not concerned with you being art, social science and science. Every course has subjects you must pass in o level and JAMP combinations, that's what you need.

Go and study Business Administration or Supply Chain Management and you'll be forever grateful

I know a Senior Police Officer, he studied Bio Chemistry, he later went back to school to Study Law.
Today he is a Lawyer.

I intentionally skipped it because till forever, I will always hate that course . It made me lose bearing . The course snatched 1st class from me , I had D . 300L second semester , I won't forget forever. I prepared so well for it , and I was so confident I would smash it . From my 200L , lecturers already knew me , and because of that , I was always segregated to sit alone at the front during exams. When I started solving the O.R , just one step that got twisted ,no one beside me to EPP me recap, everywhere got blurred and believe you me , I couldn't write anything again because it was as if my brain went blank. O.R is a crazy course .

Write to use one sitting result. You have to include mathematics if you did not. No school will admit a student to study economics who did not meet the minimum requirement in either mathematics or further mathematics. And you will need maths to perform well in economics, and in aptitude tests during job hunting. It is this job hunting stage that will request one sitting result for your secondary school exams.

So, one sitting and mathematics.

Economics is a good course esp if OP is still below 20 and knows mathematics. Medicine is good for job security, not earning a high income. It is also an expensive program to study.

The unemployment problem is because of Buhari's horrible economic policies and a high population. India has the same issue - way too many people pursuing few jobs.

Exactly you will be frustrated if there is no passion. Many people think Economics as a course is like the normal Secondary school Economic subject until they get to the university and realize. Any course someone wants to do, passion for the course is very important.

You are very correct i jettission a first class idea in my 300level first semester when a 3unit course landed me a D. I was very disappointed that year. I told myself, if i won't get a first class, i won't graduate less than a 4point.

• Be good in English,Maths,Govt and Commerce And Economics- you Must Get A1 or BB In these- Courses/ Papers at O/ L WAEC- For You To Have A Solid Foundations.
Other Courses/ Papers for your O/ L includes - Civil Education,Agric etc- st Least 8- Papers,in All the above.
ECONOMICS - IS A Serious Course In The University - because it is diverse,in Nature.
From here it leads you to Econometrics as we see 🙈 in CBN Working On Timely Basis.

Yeah, bro,you might be right ▶️, especially where there is No Job Vacancies!
However,those Economists turning Accountants are very good in their Field -Career,as they don't joke with figures!
I have a brother then,who read Anthropology/ Sociology and with just 3- yrs after Graduation - he became a Chartered Accountant!

You better get ready for dydx calculus and Econometrics... Secondary school Economics is not the same with what is obtainable in the University Level. Just be good with your math's calculations and calculus.

Economics is fun with:
Advanced microeconomics and macroeconomics
Applied statistics
Econometrics
Economics of production...

You need to prepare well for your next GCE and ensure you have credits in English language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two subjects like accounting,commerce or geography. From 300l, you will have to choose from 4 traditional areas: Also brush up your knowledge of statistics and further mathematics. Be intentional and you are good to go. Best of luck!

Because from ss1 you will have art and commercial for non science classes.

The art class takes literature while commercial class takes economics/ commers or so I can't remember
