alobright17:Yorubas have moved beyond serving a Jewish God as dictated by Rome or London. They have founded the best known indigenous Christian denominations in Africa for over 100 years now. Haven't you heard of Celestial Church, CAC, Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Deeper Life, Synagogue Church, Winner's Church, Redeemed Church, Mountain of Fire etc? Yoruba people when they want to practice Christianity at all amongst other religions they do it their own way not the Roman or British way and they follow what the scriptures say. |

I condemn this. I condemn it, I condemn it, I condemn it. What happens to other tribes. This is pure racism against other tribes. I urge the Pope to tender a public appology |

peleson1:Don't believe the hype. Jesus Christ alone has shaped human history. Jesus Christ is the Only Head of the Church. Christianity Starts and Ends with Jesus. Then God Appears on the scene since " For God so loved the world he gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not die " |

OriOko88:...and we also have more Yoruba Muslims than Yoruba Christians you know. Yoruba population is around 150million (you know Yorubas are ubiquitous, they carry first and also carry last lol), that's why we pray they have courage to get their own independent Yoruba nation now that their son Tinubu is the President ![]() Yoruba lagba! OriOko88:Did you listen to yourself ? Your population in Nigeria is approximately 40 million and alf of your population is Muslim already, making it 20 million…. How can you compare yourself that are religiously divided to Igbos who are monolithic religiously ? |

Vinnie2000:Stop making this argument. You are comparing tribes that cannot fill up one state with those who filled up an entire region and still have significant numbers in the South South. In fact, you will rarely see any Catholic parish in Nigeria without Igbo people. |

Yoruba had been used in the past during prayer of the faithful even Cardinal Arinze was very active in the church. Take your politics out of the church. |
