Why We Allowed U.S Forces Strikes Against Terrorists In Nigeria - FG by dre11(op): 3:06am On Dec 26, 2025
Ayorinde Oluokun/Abuja

The Nigerian federal government early Friday morning confirmed strikes by US forces against terrorists terrorists operating in the North West part of the country.

Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed what it described as ‘precision air strikes targeting terrorist positions in Nigeria’s North West region” in a statement by its spokesperson, Kimiebi Ebienfa.

The Ministry in the statement described the strikes by the US forces as as part of structured security cooperation and intelligence collaboration with the United States.

It added that the cooperation includes the exchange of intelligence, strategic coordination, and other forms of support consistent with international law, mutual respect for sovereignty, and shared commitments to regional and global security.

The Federal Government added that the air strikes by the U.S forces were aimed at protecting civilian lives, safeguarding national unity, and upholding the rights and dignity of all citizens, irrespective of faith or ethnicity.

“Terrorist violence in any form whether directed at Christians, Muslims, or other communities remains an affront to Nigeria’s values and to international peace and security.

“This has led to precision hits on terrorist targets in Nigeria by air strikes in the North West,” the Nigerian federal government said in the statement.

The full statement by the Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reads: “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria confirms that Nigerian authorities remain engaged in structured security cooperation with international partners, including the United States of America, in addressing the persistent threat of terrorism and violent extremism. This has led to precision hits on terrorist targets in Nigeria by air strikes in the North West.

“In line with established international practice and bilateral understandings, this cooperation includes the exchange of intelligence, strategic coordination, and other forms of support consistent with international law, mutual respect for sovereignty, and shared commitments to regional and global security.

“Nigeria reiterates that all counter-terrorism efforts are guided by the primacy of protecting civilian lives, safeguarding national unity, and upholding the rights and dignity of all citizens, irrespective of faith or ethnicity. Terrorist violence in any form whether directed at Christians, Muslims, or other communities remains an affront to Nigeria’s values and to international peace and security.

“The Federal Government continues to work closely with its partners through established diplomatic and security channels to weaken terrorist networks, disrupt their financing and logistics, and prevent cross-border threats, while strengthening Nigeria’s own security institutions and intelligence capabilities.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to engage relevant partners and keep the public informed through appropriate official channels.”

You go explain tire because no evidence!

Long story short, they told you guys they were coming and to stay out of their way and you had no choice but to cooperate.

That Mo-Fo in a certain rock in Abuja is a goner. I know where all this is headed. He’s an incompetent buffoon that doesn’t deserve to be on that seat.

I told you guys last month in this cryptic post that they were coming:

givedemwotowoto:
When the US tells you they're coming, they're coming. If you haven't seen them one month after, don't assume the threat is over. They're actively training, and they have eyes on ground following and watching you. They will eventually come.

What atrocities?
If your cherished president Jonathan had called for help from US in 2012 when the terrorists went sporadic, will we be in this mess in the first place?
A president is making a difficult decision that diminishes his power just for the general good and you are here talking like an idiot.
Some of you can't even manage you small scale business to success, how can we expect you to do better in your response to the business of a country as complex as Nigeria?
BITTER PEOPLE.

I like Trump for one thing. If he makes a promise, he always tries to keep them. That's exactly what he's doing in America. Agba..dorians can wail on! More strikes are coming!

I know that many Nigerians don't have regards for human lives. But some of us who know how precious human lives are approve these strikes 100%. It took a Donald Trump to intervene before these people start taking the fight against terrorism seriously.

The US should send their Marines across states in the north. Air strikes are not enough. Foot soldiers should go after these terrorists, their financiers and sympathizers.

Did I just read where they FG used the word "allowed"

As though they have a choice

The cooperation with the USA to bomb the terrorists left them no choice

That bombing should be spread across all of Nigeria

I look forward to seeing the pictures or videos of barbecued terrorists

Re: Why We Allowed U.S Forces Strikes Against Terrorists In Nigeria - FG by greypencils:
This confirms one thing. The plans to Islamize & Fulanise Nigeria is real. The US and Israel have received credible intelligence and like they have fought radical jihad in the past, they are ready to do the same thing in Northern Nigeria.

Ask yourself why the Sultan has kept mute over the murderous activity of his people. He hasn't uttered one word of condemnation against them. Ask yourself why the Sultan of Sokoto is keen on fostering Sharia in the Southwest. He knows Sharia in the southwest would provide softlanding to capture Yoruba land. He has his minions in the bushes with arms. The cities are still strongholds difficult to capture. Hence the use of Sharia to weaken secularism in the Southwest. With Sharia comes radicalisation.

I believe Tinubu still remains a cog in their wheel. He is very much aware of their plans and he intends to thwart it. Tinubu na jaiye jaiye Muslim and not a radicalist.

I feel, Tinubu is waiting to win in 2027 before he shows his real hand, the activation of State Police. A federal police right now will greatly help his election bid, state policing would weaken it.
