I bought a bunch of four big pieces for a thousand naira here in Lagos today.

Lol this is plantain season and totally believable.

My mum showed me 10 tubers of yam she got for 7k. It all depends on the location.

But certainly not Lagos.

it may be higher in Abuja town because of course sellers must make profit

That's why I pity those in Lagos with big compounds who use concrete or interlocking to floor every outdoor single walking space. I deliberately left space at the back of my house for a garden. I planted 7 separate plantain stalks and 3 banana 🍌 and after 5 years NA ME DEY RUN cool

In fact I'm eating yam and Plantain for breakfast right now cheesy

Plantain and banana on repeat all through the year 🤗
