It stopped working yesterday evening though every other things are working well on the phone. I can make Whatsapp calls and send sms with the said phone. Abeg make una helep me.

This battery I got as at when I made that comment seems to be better than all the other ones I've gotten. My phone stays on for as low as 14% and doesn't lag while at it. I haven't tried to see how long it will stay up for before going off. So I just charge when it's low.

I'll ask the guy for the V30 battery. If he can order the two, I'm game. But it will take months to arrive.

My V30 did this same thing sometime last month.
But the next day, it began working normal.

So my guess for solution is just give it sometime and restart. You might be lucky like me.

I previously posted here requesting help sourcing replacement parts for my LG G8X, but I didn’t get any positive responses. I’m sharing this update in case someone else needs help with same issue I had.

I ordered an LG G8X charging board online, and it arrived in about 21 days. After receiving it, I went to Computer Village, Ikeja, to have it installed. During the repair, the technician discovered that my battery was swollen and advised me to replace it.

I searched around for an OEM battery but couldn’t find any. As a workaround, I decided to transplant my original battery’s BMS (Battery Management System) onto a different compatible cell. After the modification, the new battery now gives me over 6 hours of heavy usage and more than a full day on normal usage.

Downsides
1. In‑display fingerprint sensor responsiveness dropped to about 60% (not as accurate as before).
2. Battery usage statistics are inaccurate: for example, 3 hours of screen‑on time may show as only 1 hour in the dashboard.
3. Fast charging is inconsistent (≈50/50 detection rate)
The device does not always trigger fast‑charging mode when the charger is connected.

When fast charging is detected: ≈2 hours to full charge

When fast charging is not detected: ≈3 hours+ to full charge
